Nintex Announces Integration with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Dynamics CRM

SEATTLE, July 14, 2014 – Nintex, the world leader in workflow software, today announced it now integrates with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the two market-leading CRM platforms. Nintex is the first workflow company to enable business users to connect critical ECM and CRM systems through the cloud, allowing customers to quickly and easily automate processes between departments in a customer-driven environment.

With the new integrations, users can readily accelerate a variety of processes involving frequent interactions between customer-facing teams and internal business operations. Nintex's integration with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Dynamics CRM lets organizations:

  • Drive business processes in SharePoint in response to events in CRM so work flows better between previously siloed systems
  • Automate the process of creating, updating, retrieving, and querying records in Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics using simple drag-and-drop workflow actions
  • Post status updates, links and polls to Salesforce Chatter or Microsoft Yammer, and progress workflows based on user responses in social channels

Nintex will offer demos and presentations of the new capabilities in booth #921 at Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference, Microsoft's premier event for its top partners, to be held in Washington, D.C. from July 13–17.

New Releases for Nintex Workflow for Office 365

The latest release of Nintex Workflow for Office 365 adds new capabilities like State Machines, RunIf, and Action labels. You can now design workflows using State Machine and RunIf actions to build agile, dynamic, and powerful processes with advanced logic. With the new action labeling capability, users can easily label each action in their workflow design to describe the process in easy to understand terms.

  • State Machines
    Using state machines users can model workflow processes to jump between different levels of business logic in a way that's easy to understand and maintain. For example, if you have several levels of synchronous approvals (in processes like employee onboarding, document approval, advertisement creation process, sales order generation, etc.) and a certain level declines the request, then state machine allows you to go back to the previous level of approval.

Nintex Elects E2open President and CEO Mark Woodward to Its Board of Directors

Accomplished software executive brings high-growth expertise to leading workflow company

SEATTLE, May 6, 2014 - Nintex, the world leader in workflow software, today announced that it has elected Mark Woodward, president and CEO of E2open (NASDAQ: EOPN), to its board of directors. Woodward's appointment comes at a time of remarkable momentum for the company, which revealed last month that it now has more than 1,000 unique customers connected to its cloud services.

In this role, Woodward is responsible for leading the company's overall operations, including its growth strategy, solutions road map and customer success efforts. He joined the company in June 2008 and took it public in July 2013.

Prior to E2open, Woodward served as CEO of Serena Software for seven years as well as held executive-level positions at McAfee and CA Technologies. He is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and serves as a member of the board of directors for the nonprofit All Stars Helping Kids, located in Redwood City, California.

Nintex Wins Five Awards at the 2014 SharePoint Conference App Awards

Nintex, the world leader in workflow software, today announced that its Nintex Workflow for Office 365 app has been named the winner in the People's Choice, Most Interesting SharePoint Scenario and Most Downloaded SharePoint App categories at the 2014 SharePoint Conference App Awards. Another of Nintex's cloud apps, Nintex Forms for Office 365, was also honored as a finalist in the People's Choice category and placed third for Most Downloaded SharePoint App.

Held in conjunction with the Microsoft SharePoint Conference, the awards honor innovative and high-quality productivity apps dedicated to enhancing Microsoft Office or SharePoint. Nintex took home five prizes in three categories, with Nintex Workflow for Office 365 leading in each:

The Most Downloaded SharePoint App category was based on the objective number of user downloads from the entire Microsoft SharePoint store during the voting period. The Most Interesting SharePoint Scenario category was selected by a panel of Microsoft judges, which based its decision on two criteria: 75 percent on the app's relevance to the platform and 25 percent on app performance.

Number of Nintex Cloud-Connected Customers Surpasses 1,000

Nintex, the world leader in workflow software, today announced that it now has more than 1,000 customers using the company's cloud services.

"I've been talking with a number of these customers," said John Burton, CEO of Nintex. "They are embracing the Nintex mobile and cloud-based digital forms, together with the workflow systems, to drive efficiencies within operational processes and to enable a stronger management support framework."

Customers are utilizing Nintex's cloud functionality to extend and improve business process automation in a multitude of ways, including:

Nintex Names Eric Johnson as Chief Financial Officer

Nintex, the world leader in workflow software, today announced that Eric Johnson has joined the company as chief financial officer. Johnson is the most recent addition to the executive team leading Nintex’s continued global expansion and follows Christian Smith’s appointment as senior vice president of global sales.

“With his global background with private and public technology companies, Eric is a great addition to the Nintex team,” said John Burton, Nintex’s chief executive officer. “He has deep experience in all financial aspects of rapidly growing software firms including on-premise, and cloud delivery business models.  Moreover, his domain expertise in social collaboration and workflow is a perfect knowledge fit with Nintex.”

Johnson brings more than 15 years of financial and operational experience to Nintex. He comes to Nintex from Jive Software, where he served as vice president of finance. At Jive, Johnson helped lead the company through its IPO process while maintaining its high growth rate by building a finance and sales operations organization that supported both the IPO and Jive’s continued growth.

Prior to joining Jive, Johnson spent seven years at Serena Software, holding financial and operational leadership positions, including director of finance and accounting for the Americas and Asia Pacific and vice president of worldwide sales operations. Johnson also held finance positions with Sequent Computer Systems, which was acquired by IBM, and with InFocus.

Nintex Appoints Christian Smith as Senior Vice President of Global Sales

Nintex today announced the appointment of Christian Smith as senior vice president of global sales. Smith’s appointment to the Nintex leadership team comes on the heels of the naming of John Burton as Nintex CEO, exhibitive of the company’s rapid growth and expansion.

Smith brings to the Nintex team more than 20 years of technology sales and marketing expertise. He comes to Nintex from Oracle, where he served as group vice president of service automation. In this capacity, he was responsible for revenue and the go-to-market strategy for the company’s entire customer experience portfolio of SaaS and on-premise solutions for automating multi-channel service experiences.

Previously, Smith served as vice president of worldwide sales for Oracle’s ATG Web Commerce Optimization Services team, having held the same position for ATG before it was acquired by Oracle in 2011. In his more than 14 years of SaaS experience, Smith has been directly involved in the creation and growth of several SaaS businesses as a founder, an executive, or in advisory roles, including at Daptiv, where he served as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing and led the organization from a startup to the market leader in SaaS project portfolio management and work automation.

New updates expand the language capabilities of two Nintex products Nintex Workflow 2013 and Nintex Forms 2013.

Nintex Workflow 2013 is now available in nineteen languages English, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.

Nintex Forms 2013 is now available in ten languages English, Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish.

Nintex Names John Burton as CEO

Nintex Workflow for Microsoft Office 365 Now Available

Nintex, a world leader in workflow software, today announced the availability of Nintex Workflow for Microsoft Office 365. Now users can scale and build advanced workflows on a powerful cloud platform. Nintex Workflow for Office 365 is available immediately in the SharePoint Store and Nintex Forms for Office 365 will be available in the coming weeks.

These versions of Nintex Workflow and Nintex Forms are developed specifically for the Office 365 platform and cater to its unique capabilities. Nintex’s software extends Microsoft SharePoint Online, enabling users to collaborate on processes in the cloud or in a hybrid environment. Nintex Unveils Workflow and Forms for Office 365

Nintex Named "Cool Vendor" by Gartner

Nintex today announced it has been included in Gartner Inc.’s list of "Cool Vendors in Program and Portfolio Management, 2013,” published April 29, 2013 by analysts Robert A. Handler, Matt Light, Jim Duggan, Daniel B. Stang, Donna Fitzgerald, and Elise Olding. The exclusive list highlights innovative vendors and their products and services selected by Gartner analysts.

In the report, Gartner states that “organizations struggle to gain more productivity with fixed resource pools.” Nintex Workflow allows business users and IT developers the ability to design and implement end-to-end workflows with a graphical drag-and-drop interface, without the need for lengthy development cycles.

Nintex customers have reported increased efficiency and cost savings, such as a 20 percent reduction of time spent in meetings, up to 50 percent faster project completion times and hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings in IT support. Nintex Gets Social with Yammer Integration

Las Vegas, Nev. – November 12, 2012– Nintex (www.nintex.com), the world’s leading SharePoint workflow company, today announced rich integration between Nintex Workflow and Yammer, the best-in-class Enterprise Social Network recently acquired by Microsoft.  Leveraging the Nintex Live platform, this integration enables Yammer customers to discover and participate in business processes without having to leave the familiar Yammer environment.  In addition, SharePoint customers can now extend the reach of their workflows by monitoring and responding to activity in Yammer Feeds, pushing notifications to Yammer Networks, and managing Yammer users, groups, and profiles.

Nintex has formally announced the availability of Nintex Workflow Platform Preview for SharePoint 2013 in the new SharePoint Store. The Nintex Workflow Platform Preview equips users with the tools to create SharePoint workflows inside their browser from directly inside SharePoint.

The Nintex Workflow Platform Preview for SharePoint 2013 not only allows users to drag and drop SharePoint’s native workflow actions, but users also can leverage a collection of cloud services registered with Nintex Live, including content repositories, social media, and other services such as contact verification translations.

Nintex Appoints Ryan Duguid, a SharePoint Veteran, to Leadership Team

Today Nintex announced that Ryan Duguid has joined Nintex as Vice President of Product Management. Duguid is charged with driving cloud strategy and leading the development of Nintex solutions, including Nintex Live and Nintex Analytics, which extend the reach of Microsoft technologies in an expanding world of online services and mobile computing. Duguid strengthens a strong team, which already includes Mike Fitzmaurice, vice president of product technology, and Alberto Sutton, vice president product management, for Nintex Workflow, Nintex Forms and Nintex Workflow for Project Server.

“Ryan will be a great asset to the Nintex family, and we are pleased to appoint him to our management team,” said Wayne Woolston, president of Nintex. “We are committed to delivering products to help customers add value and build solutions on Microsoft SharePoint technologies, and Ryan’s in-depth experience with SharePoint will help us continue to realize that goal.”

Duguid brings more than 17 years of global IT experience to the Nintex team. During his tenure, Duguid played a key role in bringing SharePoint 2010 to market, and developed strategic programs to drive SharePoint adoption and expand SharePoint’s capabilities in customer engagement, content management, compliance and analytics.

Prior to his role with Microsoft, Duguid worked in the IT industry throughout New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. During his career, Duguid founded a successful web development company, connected the island nation of Niue to the Internet, and helped establish New York and London offices for a New Zealand software firm.

Available Now Nintex Forms 2010 Version 1.1

Nintex Forms 2010 version 1.1 has been released today. As well as allowing you to build forms for SharePoint lists and libraries quickly using a drag-and-drop browser designer, it now includes additional features that will improve the user experience of designing and using your forms.

New features like inline functions and the ability to show and hide controls based on form mode will become invaluable to you when designing forms to handle expense reports, helpdesk requests and employee review forms to name just a few.
 
Form Design Experience
When designing a form, controls placed on the designer canvas can be moved using the arrow keys, allowing for greater accuracy of control placement and form layout formatting. In addition, the controls on the form are now aware of changes made to the underlying SharePoint list column that it is bound to. For example, updating a list column’s title will automatically be reflected on the form without the need to republish.
 
Extending the Form Design Areas Within Nintex Workflow and SharePoint
The added capability to design forms for SharePoint external lists, provides the ability to change the controls of the external data columns which otherwise would have limited users to just a single line textbox. Nintex Forms can now be leveraged within reusable workflow templates in Nintex Workflow 2010.
 
Additional SharePoint Form Controls
Nintex Forms now has support for SharePoint column types such as event recursion for calendar lists, managed metadata, and external data columns. This provides greater flexibility to designing forms and leverages the advantages of these SharePoint column types within a form. It is now possible to design forms that consume information from other systems (external data column) and have structured taxonomy selection (managed metadata). 

New Calculated Value Control
The new calculated value control, dynamically performs a calculation or concatenation of values and displays the result at form run time.  See calculated fields update instantaneously when filling out forms.

New Inline Functions Including Form 
New inline functions have been added, such as evaluating if the form is in new, edit or view mode, and checking if a user is part of a SharePoint audience. This provides greater flexibility over the display and enabling of controls on the form providing a much more targeted form to the user.

List Form Web Part
The List Form webpart allows a list form designed with Nintex Forms to be embedded on a page within a SharePoint 2010 site or portal. The List Form webpart can also be connected to a SharePoint list view web part, providing an easy way to view the contents of a list and edit / view the list item in a form on one single page.

Nintex identified by Forrester as the most utilized vendor among third-party tools to augment SharePoint

Forrester Research, Inc.’s analyst Rob Koplowitz presented, at the SharePoint Conference, his findings from reports on SharePoint adoption and custom-development strategy. “SharePoint is poised for broader adoption as an Information Workplace platform“, noted Koplowitz in the report, adding that decision-makers are augmenting SharePoint with third-party products. The report portrayed Nintex as the most utilized workflow vendor on SharePoint and added that mobile application support looks like the next big add-on category. “Adding mobile access to SharePoint is on the priority lists of a significant number of shops we interviewed”, noted Koplowitz in the survey.

Earlier in the conference, Nintex had unveiled its Nintex Forms 2010 product. Nintex unveiled Nintex Forms 2010 on the first day of the SharePoint Conference in Anaheim, California today. Nintex Forms is a web based designer that enables forms to be created within SharePoint quickly and easily. Forms can then be consumed on most common mobile devices from the internet, anywhere and anytime. Nintex Forms integrates seamlessly with Nintex Workflow to automate business processes and deliver rich SharePoint applications. 

The launch of Nintex Forms 2010 concludes a multi-stage beta program involving a large user base of Nintex partners and customers around the globe who provided invaluable feedback and ensured Nintex Forms is both functional and versatile. Mike Fitzmaurice, vice president of product technology at Nintex, commented on the product vision, “Customers told us they needed a forms product that was easier to use and more accessible to business users, even those customers with existing forms tools for advanced development scenarios.” Fitzmaurice added, “We made Nintex Forms as easy to use as dragging design components onto a browser-based canvas, mirroring the experience our customers already have with Nintex Workflow.”

Nintex today announced that their flagship product, Nintex Workflow 2010, now provides an integration option for Microsoft SharePoint 2010 customers making a move to Microsoft Office 365.

Customers running Nintex Workflows in SharePoint 2010 can now use Nintex Live to connect on-premise SharePoint to Office 365 sites. They can use Office 365 to allow external contributors to participate in organizational workflows as well as build hybrid on-premise and cloud solutions that have  workflows collect and distribute documents and list content between on-premise and online SharePoint sites.

“Being in the cloud lets us evolve our feature set on “Internet time” – and when we add features, no one has to update any local SharePoint servers,” Fitzmaurice added.

“Nintex continues to offer SharePoint 2010 solutions by building the Nintex Live solution for our customers moving to the cloud,” said Jared Spataro, director, SharePoint product management, Microsoft. “We are pleased Nintex Live and offerings like Office 365 provide cloud-based solutions for our customers.”

Nintex Live is designed to be extended, both by Nintex itself and by third parties. New services can be registered with Nintex Live yet managed by their owners. The technology will even facilitate distributed workflow solutions by allowing a workflow in one location to start and communicate with a workflow in a completely different location.

The service runs on Windows Azure, Microsoft’s cloud-hosted operating system. The decision to build on Windows Azure was an easy one, according to Wayne Woolston, managing director, “by leveraging Windows Azure, we were able to focus on the job to be done, and let the platform take care of scaling, messaging, queuing, encryption, and host of other concerns cloud services usually must address by themselves.”

Customers with software assurance agreements will be eligible for invitations to activate Nintex Workflow 2010’s ability to communicate with Nintex Live at no additional charge, although some individual cloud web services may have associated costs.  “The decision to use any given service in the catalog will depend on the customer and the service,” said Woolston, “but deciding whether to connect to Nintex Live itself should be easy.

Many in attendance, who were familiar with Nintex Reporting 2008, were impressed by the second generation of this product line that helps report and analyze trends, performance and usage of SharePoint 2010 environments. Nintex has released Nintex Workflow for Project Server 2010, extending its third-generation SharePoint workflow product, Nintex Workflow 2010, to users of the Microsoft Project Server 2010 platform. The product empowers project and portfolio managers to design and implement the portfolio governance processes they want, and provides greater visibility into project lifecycle process, status, compliance, bottlenecks and participation.

Nintex Workflow for Project Server 2010 offers a graphical, web-based, no-code designer that builds demand workflows that are assigned to Enterprise Project Types, improving team collaboration throughout the project review and approval processes. As workflows are associated to Enterprise Project Types, this allows for a more flexible and complete project lifecycle management experience, where workflow logic can be reused across projects, departments and teams. Macquarie to take a significant minority stake in Nintex Group

Nintex Group Pty Ltd (“Nintex”) advises that Macquarie Capital Group Limited (“Macquarie”) has agreed to acquire a significant minority interest in Nintex. Nintex today released its third-generation SharePoint workflow product, Nintex Workflow 2010. Nintex Workflow adds a drag-and-drop workflow designer, connectivity and advanced workflow features to the Microsoft SharePoint document management and collaboration platform, empowering business users and IT professionals to automate business processes as easily as using a web browser.

Nintex Workflow 2010 builds on SharePoint 2010 platform improvements, such as the Fluent ribbon interface, reusable workflows, site workflows, content type workflows, InfoPath forms and the ability to export workflows to Visual Studio® 2010. Nintex Workflow 2010 to Release July 12

Nintex today announced Nintex Workflow 2010 will be released on July 12, 2010 completing an 18-month effort to, once again, create a product that lives up to its motto of “SharePoint Workflow for Everyone.”

Nintex Workflow 2007 customers with software assurance agreements can upgrade to Nintex Workflow 2010 at no charge using a simple process that preserves all existing functionality.

“We’ve worked closely with the Microsoft SharePoint team for a long time, and across many releases,” said Wayne Woolston, managing director for Nintex. “The tight integration with SharePoint 2010 will be very obvious, as well as the leap forward in business value.”

Nintex Workflow 2010 provides easy, yet powerful, workflow tools for business users and professional process designers alike, by enhancing – not replacing – SharePoint’s built-in workflow infrastructure.  The product includes full support for SharePoint’s new user interface and new platform options including site workflows and reusable workflows, plus investments in InfoPath workflow forms design. While Nintex Workflow 2010 will ship with many new ready-to-use workflow components, workflow designers will be able to create new, reusable components by simply drawing them and saving them for reuse.  Nintex Workflow 2010 also includes improved management features to secure, deploy, manage and report on workflows from individual sites up to entire farms.

Nintex Workflow 2007 Now Available in German, Spanish, Hungarian, Latvian, Czech and Italian

The latest release of Nintex Workflow 2007 has embraced a European flavor with the launch of German, Spanish, Hungarian, Latvian, Czech and Italian language packs. Other features and improvements with this release include selective reporting capabilities, dynamic delegation to set approvers, as well as updates to a number of existing workflow actions including extending web services support. 

In addition to the localization of the Nintex Workflow 2007 graphical user interface, message templates, LazyApproval™ messages, and workflow templates; localized versions of the installation guide, help files, product flyer, and support options flyer will also be made available. Nintex is currently well underway with translating Nintex Workflow 2007 into another eight languages.

Nintex Reporting 2008 SDK now Available

Nintex Reporting 2008, the ground-breaking content analytics software for Microsoft SharePoint has been improved with major updates including the Nintex Reporting 2008 Software Development Kit (SDK) now available to assist with custom report development on the Nintex Reporting 2008 platform. These updates establish Nintex Reporting 2008 as the first choice for business and technical users wanting to gain insight into user behavior and resource usage within the SharePoint environment.

The update also includes the addition of item audit reports at document library level. This new action enables the audit report to be easily viewed per item and this will show all the actions carried out on the item by specific users.

Many SharePoint users operate within SharePoint team sites on a daily basis and now Nintex Reporting can be activated at a team site level as well as the server and farm level. Nintex Reporting now offers specific reports to analyse and provide an overview of team site activity. 

Enhancing the existing Archived Reports functionality is the new multi-series chart view. Viewing multiple reports side by side gives an insight into comparative period performance/ usage etc. 

Recognising that every organisation has their own unique ways of doing things custom developed report definitions can now be easily added and managed through a new import/export administration facility.

Nintex Workflow 2007 Improved

Nintex has released a major update version of Nintex Workflow 2007. Features and improvements of the updated version include language localization, workflow versioning, updates to existing actions and new MOSS actions for Nintex Workflow 2007 Enterprise Edition. These improvements further establish Nintex Workflow 2007 as the first choice for SharePoint experts and business users alike.

Nintex products are sold through our partner channel and direct sales team to companies around the world. At last count we had sold Nintex products into 50 countries. Based on demand Nintex Workflow 2007 is now able to support language localization. This includes supporting multiple languages in the same SharePoint farm and language packs in German and Spanish will soon be available. Nintex is currently working closely with multiple Nintex partners on another 10+ languages. Language localization applies to the user interface, message templates, LazyApproval™ messages, and workflow templates.

Reproducing work for any reason is not enjoyable and a drain on employee productivity and efficiency. Nintex Workflow 2007 now includes workflow versioning which ensures that any workflows created are saved and never lost. Previous versions of a workflow can now be accessed, modified and republished.

Nintex has enhanced existing actions such as the ‘Copy to SharePoint’ action and added over a dozen new workflow actions to the Nintex Workflow 2007 Enterprise Edition to take advantage of specific functionality in Office SharePoint Server. These new MOSS actions enable the following -
• Workflows to be submitted to SharePoint Server record center sites,
• The execution of excel worksheet models in workflows,
• The execution of search queries against Microsoft Office SharePoint Server’s enterprise search engine and the results incorporated into workflows,

Nintex Workflow 2007 Certified for Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V

Nintex is ready for a virtualized world. Nintex Workflow 2007 has been certified for Windows Server 2008. Hyper-V is the next generation hypervisor-based server virtualization technology.

By earning the Hyper V designation for Nintex Workflow 2007, to complement the Certified for Windows 2008 status Nintex Workflow 2007 already held, Nintex confirmed its participation in the Microsoft Global Virtual Launch Wave.  All testing was done by independent testing vendor Veritest.

Nintex Workflow 2007 was one of the first applications to be listed in the Microsoft Windows Server Catalog with this designation.

Nintex has appointed Wayne Woolston, an industry respected Managing Director, to drive the company forward.

"Due to rapid sales growth, new product releases, booming global sales, and an increasing number of blue chip clients, we needed to bring in an experienced Managing Director to take the company to the next level" said Brian Cook, CEO and co-founder of Nintex.

In March Nintex established its USA office in Seattle. Wayne brings to Nintex over 35 years experience, having held a number of key positions in the IT industry, including General Manager - Exicom Communication Systems, Vice President - Nortel Networks, and Managing Director - 3D networks.

Nintex Contributes to the Success of the APAC Microsoft SharePoint Conference

This week Nintex helped make the APAC Microsoft SharePoint Conference a success giving all conference delegates free access to Nintex Workflow 2007 and Nintex Podcast Server 2007 via the conference MOSS 2007 website.

Microsoft Australia wanted to provide an easy way for both conference attendees and speakers to contribute content to the official conference website which was built on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007).

This was achieved by using Nintex Podcast Server 2007 which allows easy creation and distribution of voice recordings. An approval process using the Nintex Workflow 2007 product was also included to ensure that content was relevant and suitable whilst allowing real-time creativity and sharing.

Nintex is proud to announce SmartLibrary 2.0. SmartLibrary 2.0 provides more advanced document management features for SharePoint while continuing to improve the integration and user experience for SharePoint users.

Key new features in SmartLibrary 2.0 include-

Advanced Workflow:

  • Graphical Workflow Interface - The new workflow designer provides drag and drop capability..

  • Document Level workflow - Workflow can now be applied to individual documents as well as folders and entire document libraries.

  • Email Customization - Notification emails for workflow document approval/rejection can be customized by the workflow designer.

  • Notification - The Workflow designer can nominate the number of reminder emails to be sent to approvers. If the document is not approved after the set amount of reminders the submitter will be notified by email.

Document Undelete:

  • Scheduled Automatic Deletion. Administrators can set daily, weekly or monthly schedules to automatically purge the Deleted Items folder.

Activity Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Workflow Statistics - SmartLibrary now provides the ability to monitor and report statistics on document workflow approval based on individual steps or the entire workflow.

  • Enhanced Audit Log - The Audit log records the Approval status of the document as well as the approval or rejection comments made during the workflow.

Publish To Other Systems

  • Alternate Publish Location - Files can be published to a web service, file share or alternative SharePoint Server at the completion of the workflow.

The SmartLibrary Migration Tool has been developed as a pre-release addition to SmartLibrary V1.1 as a way to preview one of the new features of the upcoming version 1.2. SmartLibrary v1.1 ready to ship

Nintex has announced that SmartLibrary V1.1 is ready to ship to customers and will be available for download on the 2nd of March 2004. New features include; Support for InfoPath forms, import/export of workflows, support for editing documents within a workflow, the ability to bypass approval features (for authorized individuals) and enhanced user help. This update has been driven by customer feedback to version 1.0 of SmartLibrary.

Nintex joins Victoria.NET Program

Victoria.NET is an association of industry representatives from Victoria (Australia) who are involved with Microsoft .NET developments. Victoria.NET is an ICT industry cluster initiated by a number of industry stakeholders and supported by the State Government of Victoria, Microsoft and Intel.
Members are ICT industry representatives who are involved with .NET projects. Members share their experiences with the technology to promote the use of the .NET framework and benefit the industry as a whole.
Established in September 2003, its primary aim is to establish Victoria's reputation as a centre of excellence for .NET projects. Its mission is to establish a successful ongoing ITC industry cluster around Microsoft .NET and XML web service technologies:

  1. Establish a successful ongoing ITC industry cluster around Microsoft .NET and XML web service technologies.
  2. Maintain and establish Victoria's position as a centre of excellence for these technologies.
  3. Promote Victoria nationally and internationally as the place to undertake .NET projects.
