About the role:
This role is responsible for improving the quality, integrity, and usability of core revenue data within Salesforce. The analyst is expected to work with moderate independence, applying sound judgment to prioritize and resolve data quality issues and contribute to process improvement recommendations. The analyst will execute against data cleanup, deduplication, and account management processes while partnering closely with RevOps, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure data is accurate and actionable. This role is critical to reducing data debt and enabling reliable reporting & analytics and go-to-market execution.
Your contribution will be:
Salesforce Data Quality Management
- Identify and resolve duplicate accounts and contacts, applying judgment to assess root cause and recurrence patterns.
- Execute account merges and maintain accurate account hierarchies.
- Enforce data standards (naming conventions, required fields, ownership) and flag systemic violations for process review.
Account Ownership & Territory Alignment
- Support account assignment updates based on territory rules.
- Partner with RevOps to ensure accounts are routed and owned correctly.
- Maintain clean parent/child account structures
- Data Hygiene & Ongoing Maintenance
- Design and conduct regular audits of CRM data quality, identifying patterns and recommending systemic fixes.
- Monitor and remediate incomplete or inconsistent records.
- Maintain dashboards or reports highlighting data quality issues and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with Sales and CS to resolve data discrepancies impacting deals or accounts.
- Support Marketing with lead/account alignment where needed.
- Triage, prioritize, and resolve ad hoc data cleanup requests, escalating complex issues with recommended solutions.
Process & Automation Support
- Lead documentation and continuous improvement of data governance processes; proactively identify gaps.
- Partner with RevOps Systems to support implementation of duplicate rules, validation rules, and automation.
- Develop and present recommendations to reduce manual cleanup through tooling or process improvements.
To be successful, we think you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred; advanced degree or relevant certifications may substitute for experience
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, operations, or CRM data management
- Demonstrated experience working with Salesforce, including data management and record maintenance
- Experience working with large datasets and executing data cleanup at scale
