Nintex acquires EnableSoft, maker of Foxtrot RPA
Today is an exciting day for Nintex employees, customers, and partners around the world. That’s because we’ve acquired Robotic Process Automation provider EnableSoft, the maker of Foxtrot RPA, to offer the industry’s most complete platform for process management and automation.
With the acquisition of Foxtrot RPA, we can now extend the reach of the Nintex Platform to more places than ever before. Whether your processes are in collaboration environments (like SharePoint, Office 365, or Box), spread across the cloud, all the way down to the desktop and legacy systems, Nintex has the solution to help more people solve their process problems than ever before.
We recognize that every company can benefit from automation like RPA to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their workforce. However, we also know that it is not uncommon to hear that while RPA has delivered on some promises, it has failed to scale across the enterprise as buyers, who have made large investments, expected.
With Nintex RPA, we intend to change that and realize the goal of a bot on every desktop.

We want to make RPA beneficial and affordable to enterprise organizations, paired with the rest of our process management and automation offerings like process mapping, workflow automation, forms, mobile apps, document generation, and e-signatures.

In fact, Foxtrot offers a platform to make the creation and deployment of RPA bots faster and easier without code – empowering non-developers to solve their own problems and making developers more productive. It’s because of this approach to RPA that Foxtrot has gained significant traction in regulated industries like financial services with more than 600 customers today.
As an example, a U.S. based bank was able to make 118,000 changes to their customers’ accounts across multiple bank systems in just a few weeks using Foxtrot, a task previously thought to be impossible. This capability gave their employees time back to focus on the end-customer experience and deliver real value back to the bank.
The customer was able to accomplish these key outcomes through an RPA capability in Foxtrot that didn’t require any developer resources or major technical skills.
