Nintex acquires EnableSoft, maker of Foxtrot RPA

Today is an exciting day for Nintex employees, customers, and partners around the world. That’s because we’ve acquired Robotic Process Automation provider EnableSoft, the maker of Foxtrot RPA, to offer the industry’s most complete platform for process management and automation.

With the acquisition of Foxtrot RPA, we can now extend the reach of the Nintex Platform to more places than ever before. Whether your processes are in collaboration environments (like SharePoint, Office 365, or Box), spread across the cloud, all the way down to the desktop and legacy systems, Nintex has the solution to help more people solve their process problems than ever before.

We recognize that every company can benefit from automation like RPA to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their workforce. However, we also know that it is not uncommon to hear that while RPA has delivered on some promises, it has failed to scale across the enterprise as buyers, who have made large investments, expected.

With Foxtrot RPA, we intend to change that and realize the goal of a bot on every desktop.

“Nintex is providing enterprises with a complete digital business platform that can handle everything from workflow and content automation to digital transaction management to the last mile of automation with RPA. Nintex has transformed from its roots in workflow automation to become one of the most complete process platforms on the market today.”

– Jim Lundy, Aragon Research CEO

We want to make RPA beneficial and affordable to enterprise organizations, paired with the rest of our process management and automation offerings like process mapping, workflow automation, forms, mobile apps, document generation, and e-signatures.

What our team loves most about Foxtrot RPA is that it stands out amongst the competition with the fastest time to value (ROI) with its powerful and easy to use capabilities – which aligns perfectly with Nintex’s product design principles.

In fact, Foxtrot offers a platform to make the creation and deployment of RPA bots faster and easier without code – empowering non-developers to solve their own problems and making developers more productive. It’s because of this approach to RPA that Foxtrot has gained significant traction in regulated industries like financial services with more than 600 customers today.

As an example, a U.S. based bank was able to make 118,000 changes to their customers’ accounts across multiple bank systems in just a few weeks using Foxtrot, a task previously thought to be impossible. This capability gave their employees time back to focus on the end-customer experience and deliver real value back to the bank.

The customer was able to accomplish these key outcomes through an RPA capability in Foxtrot that didn’t require any developer resources or major technical skills.

We feel very confident that our newly acquired RPA solution will quickly be adopted by our global Nintex partner community and appeal to our customer base of IT, ops, and process excellence professionals – as all these groups are seeking an RPA solution that they can easily use and understand.

I personally look forward to seeing what organizations worldwide will achieve with all the amazing process management and automation capabilities of the Nintex Process Cloud, including our newest addition: Foxtrot RPA.

Here’s to better processes everywhere!
