Putting an End to Paper-Based Processes
Like many organizations, MAN Diesel & Turbo had hundreds of paper forms for requests. Each request generated a review of the document, approval, and archiving of the signed form for compliance and auditing purposes. The process was manual and time-consuming as employees were required to print, sign, and scan a form numerous times before it could be submitted to the right business department.
Nunes knew that he could build a simple solution to automate approval processes with Nintex. Using Nintex Forms, Nintex App Studio, and Nintex Workflow, Nunes built a user-friendly solution that is being used to digitize all of the company’s paper-based request forms.
A Simpler Automated Approval Process
With the solution powered by Nintex and built by Nunes, a MAN Diesel & Turbo employee now can quickly and easily upload a document, complete a form specifying the signers and receivers, and submit the request.
Once submitted all signatories receive a sign task request which when completed adds a signature stamp at the end of the document. The completed document is sorted into the organization’s archiving system and the employee is notified of the approval status.
How It Works:
Let’s look at how an employee can request a company credit card at MAN Diesel & Turbo. An employee must complete an application that includes his or her signature as well as manager approval. Depending on the manager’s location and travel schedule the process could require printing and scanning of the document multiple times before the request is ever submitted to finance.
Using the Nintex solution, the entire processes is kicked-off, completed, and submitted to finance with a few clicks.
