About the role:

In this role you will primarily work with the Nintex Analytics team to help shape and grow this new product in the Nintex platform that only launched late last year. You’ll have the freedom to follow your curiosity and we are not afraid to try! This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a new team and be a key player in designing and influencing the product direction. You will be a key part in helping shape the future the Nintex platform as a user-centric solution to help customers automate, monitor and optimize their enterprise processes. 

Your contribution will be: 

Design Process: You will get to work on design problems from beginning to end. Ideation, sketching, concept development, usability testing and handover to development teams. You will also research with our customer base to feed into UX designs, and you will design and build prototypes, mock-ups, wireframes and storyboards.

Research: You'll proactively conduct research from initial exploration and discovery phase right through to product launch. Appropriate research will be conducted during and after the design and development process. You will conduct research using various methods including exploratory semi-structured interviews, surveys, and usability tests. 

Testing and Best Practice: Execute usability research to ensure that solutions provided and researched will be accessible and intuitive. The testing of designs will help identify potential usability issues and design opportunities. The ability to stay on top of current trends in usability best practices and methods will be crucial to the success of this role.

Process and Standards: Ensure that user centered design principles are applied through the project lifecycle. You will assist in maintaining the Nintex Design System, the UX research library and toolkit. In the spirit of continuous improvement and thought leadership, you'll also help in the design of procedures and metrics to measure the impact of design changes.

  • Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of digital UX experience.
  • Experience in designing complex products and services
  • Worked in agile or lean teams.
  • A continuous learning mindset, particular to gaining a deeper understanding of product design best practices and tooling.
  • You get excited about complex business problems and can’t wait to solve them.
  • Proactive approach let’s make sure we are moving things along!

In this role you will be responsible for the usability and UX consistency across the Nintex platform.. This role will also create, evaluate and modify prototypes to support evolving software application development. Individuals in this role must be user-focused and analytical.
