San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency speeds workflow automation with Nintex

Aside from overseeing nearly 700,000 riders daily, the SFMTA is has made digitization a priority. When SFMTA’s TSI department began leveraging SharePoint, they quickly realized they needed a more robust solution for workflow automation. After evaluating Nintex and K2, the agency settled on Nintex for its ease-of-use and quick time to deployment, not required coding or servers.

For the last eight years, SFMTA has been leveraging Nintex Forms and Workflows to automate previously paper-based processes agency-wide from large external projects like the managing supply chain processes to smaller internal tasks, Nintex is helping SFMTA drive efficiency. These small transformations have produced big results for SFMTA, saving time and improving data quality. To date, SFMTA has transformed its HR alternative work schedule request, electronic return to work, and surveillance video requests with Nintex.

Everything that’s coming out of Nintex that we can get out hands on, we’re looking at. Our most recent Nintex implementation is in Salesforce and the team is very interested in implementing workflows and forms there. They’re leaning on IT to help them get started, but they’ll pick it up quick. We’re also excited about how we can use Nintex Promapp®. That’s something we’re looking forward to taking advantage of really soon.
