About the role: 

As the Senior Director of Renewals at Nintex, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued success and growth of our subscription-based Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. You will lead a global team responsible for driving renewal revenue, maintaining high customer retention rates, and fostering strong relationships with our existing customer base.  

Your contribution will be:  

Renewal Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize renewal rates and minimize churn across all customer segments and geographies. Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to continuously optimize renewal strategies. 

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a global team of renewal managers and specialists, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive individual and team performance. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the renewal organization. 

Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs, challenges, and objectives. Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to address customer concerns, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and drive overall customer satisfaction. 

Revenue Forecasting and Reporting: Develop accurate revenue forecasts and reporting metrics to track renewal performance, identify areas for improvement, and communicate results to executive leadership and stakeholders. Utilize data-driven insights to drive informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement in renewal processes. 

Contract Negotiation and Pricing Strategy: Lead contract negotiations for renewal agreements, working closely with Legal, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure favorable terms and pricing while maximizing revenue potential. Develop and refine pricing strategies, discounting policies, and incentive programs to drive customer loyalty and lifetime value.

Process Optimization and Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate renewal processes, leveraging technology and best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience. Partner with cross-functional teams to implement tools, systems, and workflows that enhance renewal operations and drive operational excellence. 

To be successful, we think you need:  

  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within a SaaS company 
  • A proven track record of driving renewal revenue and customer retention organizations for at least $100M (preferably $350M and above)  
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, subscription metrics, and renewal best practices. 
  • Ability to engage and present to senior leadership  
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. 
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving customer success. 
  • Experience managing global teams and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
