About the Role

As our Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Director in providing accurate, effective, and timely Accounting services to Nintex International entities, in accordance with legislative requirements. You will also provide support and advice to the Finance team. 

Your contribution will be:

  • Ensure selected international entity balance sheets are reconciled to the general ledger with minimal outstanding items.
  • Assist with the month end variance analysis and reporting.
  • Perform month-end close functions including preparation of asset, liability, and inter-company journal entries.
  • Providing timely and accurate reporting on accounting matters as required.
  • Autonomously processing selected APAC country payrolls including managing external payroll providers to ensure quality and timely level of payroll service delivered.
  • Management of leave processes for the selected APAC country payrolls, ensuring compliance with relevant local legislation.
  • Preparation and entry of payroll related journal entries into the company’s ERP.
  • Management of selected country payroll related control accounts and balance sheet reconciliations in the company’s ERP.
  • Assist employees and HR with payroll queries.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all employees and Nintex finance teams on any relevant accounting query.
  • Liaising with and resolving any external auditor queries.
  • General accounting, finance and administration duties including providing support to the Accounting Director - International, as required.

To be successful we think you need:

  • General accounting, finance and IFRS knowledge.
  • CPA qualified with 2 year’s experience in a finance related role.
  • NetSuite knowledge advantageous.
  • Teamwork - Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve team goals and deliverables.
  • Communication Skills (Verbal and Written) - Effectively conveys messages using verbal, non-verbal and written language that the audience will understand.
  • Self-Lead - The ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously.
  • Attention to Detail - Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks.
  • Flexibility - The ability to adapt approaches, processes, and decisions to suit the situation and facilitate the best outcome.
  • Process and Systems Knowledge - Knowledge of the processes and systems available and required to complete.
