Beezy and Nintex Workflow Cloud, the underlying cloud-based workflow platform, provides a joint solution that seamlessly surfaces relevant information for every employee in their custom workplace. Moreover, with Nintex and Beezy, team members can assign and complete tasks, have conversations around their processes, and get their questions answered by a chatbot, all from one central environment.

How Does the Integration Work?

Beezy, which integrates on top of Office 365 and SharePoint on-prem, saw value in bringing automated workflows from Nintex into its solution. The best way to do this was to create a custom Nintex connector, and the recent release of the Nintex Xtensions® framework allowed for a much wider and easier integration. Now users benefit from custom actions that allow Beezy and Nintex Workflow Cloud to talk to each other.

Nintex BeezyBeezy has created its own Nintex Workflow Cloud connector using the Xtensions® framework: A set of Beezy custom actions that allow Beezy and Nintex Workflow Cloud talk to each other. Using the Beezy connector, users can post comments, cards, or create communities from within Nintex Workflow Cloud.

More importantly, this connector is bringing the power of the Nintex Platform to the digital workplace. Custom events, logic and flow actions, external start, and the whole set of Nintex Workflow Cloud connectors bring process automation to the Digital Workplace.

What Makes It so Powerful?

Several things make the integration between Beezy and Nintex beneficial for customers, for instance:

1.  Get a Notification and Take Action

Nintex Workflow Cloud can trigger a workflow by listening to the events of any system of record, including CRM systems like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics, or just a simple web form.

With the addition of the Beezy connector, users can post messages in their workplace and consolidate notifications from any of their systems or applications. For example, users can see when an opportunity in their Salesforce org is about to close, when someone is filling a form on their website, when someone has submitted a leave request, and more.Nintex BeezyGetting a notification when something is happening in your business is helpful, but taking action from that notification is even better.

The Beezy connector can include actionable messages on the notification itself, meaning that any system of record can surface tasks and activities. Therefore, a user is not required to go into Salesforce when they need to approve a discount, or into their HR system to approve a leave request. Instead, they can stay in the same digital workplace, and perform those tasks from the same Beezy action card.

2.  Talk to Beezy – Ask the BeezyBot

Sometimes users know what to do, but not how to do it. So, why not have a chat to find some answers?

Beezy includes a chat bot, the BeezyBot, which understands the context of every piece of information. The BeezyBot is smart enough to collect the needed information and context from a user, and start the right workflow in Nintex Workflow Cloud – whether it is submitting a leave request, creating a new site in your workplace, or changing the status of an opportunity in your CRM.

3.  Make the Conversation Part of the Process

In some processes, especially those including human-centric tasks and decisions, employees tend to miss the conversational element. When people get a task, very often there is a conversation among the different members of the team before making the right decision and taking an action. Conversations of this type are not usually a part of a task item, but now Beezy can collect the messages and include them in the task.

4.  Context Matters

Beezy leverages the External Start capability of Nintex Workflow Cloud to start workflows from within your workplace. In other words, the external start can be used to bring customized actions to the workplace based on the content involved in the process.

Imagine an employee is working with a document in Beezy – now they can share that document externally by automatically storing it in Box, or send it for e-signature signed using systems like DocuSign or Adobe Sign, all without leaving the Beezy environment.Nintex Beezy
