New at Nintex Q3 2026: A unified Nintex Automation CE platform and the arrival of Nintex Solutions

In theory, technology has never been more capable. In practice, it’s never felt more scattered. Teams have workflows in one place, forms in another, documents somewhere else, and AI agents across tools just starting to show up in the mix. Each automation is useful on its own, to a point, but it’s also just one more thing to navigate, deploy, and govern separately. The tools have gotten exponentially smarter, but the ability to use them easily, intuitively, and in a way that maximizes their impact hasn’t kept up.

That’s the gap Nintex is closing now, with a unified Nintex Automation CE Platform experience, anchored by a new capability called Nintex Solutions, now available in open beta.

Why this, why now

Back in June, we previewed what was coming for Nintex Automation CE: Orchestration and AI agents moving into open beta, and a unified platform with a new solutions framework were both on the (highly anticipated) horizon. That framework is now live.

Ask any process owner or IT leader how or why automation degrades at scale, and the answer is almost never that the technology itself didn’t work. It’s usually more like a workflow gets built, a form gets built to feed it, an agent gets configured to handle exceptions… and then a human has to manually track versions, coordinate releases, approve inputs, and hope everything moves into production together and stays that way. Multiply that across a dozen or more automations and several departments, and the coordination — not the tools themselves — becomes the bottleneck.

This also makes governance harder than it should be. Without a structured, unified view of what’s been built and where it’s deployed, security and compliance teams end up reacting to sprawl instead of shaping systems from the start.

The unified Nintex Automation CE Platform gives you the speed to build and iterate without asking you to sacrifice the visibility and control that keeps automation and AI trustworthy at scale or the expertise they’ve built as humans and teams.

What’s live: One platform, one governed way to ship

A unified Nintex Automation CE platform: Workflows, forms, apps, documents, orchestration, and AI agents now live inside a single, connected Nintex Automation CE experience instead of separate tools opened one at a time. It’s a navigation change on the surface, but the real shift is underneath: Now that the tools aren’t fragmented, your teams can stop building isolated automations and start building complete solutions to real business problems.

Nintex Solutions: This is the new way to package related Nintex automation assets including workflows, forms, integrations, agents, and documents, into a single governed container tied to a specific business outcome. Solutions bring built-in application lifecycle management (ALM), so instead of promoting a workflow, then a form, then an integration separately across development, test, and production, your teams can move the whole thing together, in one step.

With Solutions, you can:

  • Group related assets into one container instead of managing them individually
  • Move complete solutions across environments in a single step, with versioning and approvals handled by built-in ALM
  • Build a solution manually, generate one with an AI-powered assistant, or start from a prebuilt template in the Nintex Gallery
  • Reuse proven solution patterns across teams instead of unnecessarily rebuilding work from scratch

That means a brand-new user can launch a proven template on day one while an experienced team can still efficiently architect something highly specific to their process. Both paths lead into the same governed structure, which means speed and control no longer need to be a trade-off.

What this launch could look like across your teams

The value of a unified Nintex Automation CE depends on who’s using it:

  • An HR or Operations team can build an onboarding or case management solution spanning forms, approval workflows, and an AI agent handling routine questions, deploy it all as one coherent unit, and reuse it as a template the next time they need to stand up a similar process.
  • IT gets a structural answer to a familiar tension: Built-in governance and environment management lets them set guardrails once, at the platform level, instead of policing individual releases after the fact.
  • Finance and Customer Experience teams can take a proven approval chain or intake process and reuse it elsewhere instead of reinventing it, compounding the value of solutions built well the first time.

Innovation and intelligent efficiency you can use today

This release is part of what Nintex has been calling Agentic Business Orchestration: A concept that unites workflows, orchestration, and AI agents into a single platform rather than treating each as a separate bolt-on product. This unified platform and governed way to package and deploy solutions are the foundation that agentic business orchestration vision depends on — without them, more capability often just means more fragmentation to manage.

The unified platform and Nintex Solutions are available now in open beta, with general availability coming later this year. We’ll have more to share soon on how Solutions and built-in ALM work in practice, including a closer look at the AI-assisted creation tools that can help you move from idea to solution faster than ever before.
