Sr. Sales Enablement Program Manager

About the role:

This role will be responsible for all aspects of foundational and continuous learning programs for our field sales teams globally, including onboarding, role-based learning journeys, consulting on and securing training content, scheduling and coordination with regional execution teams, deployment of on-demand courseware, and instructor-led sales training.    

The role will work closely with a dynamic team to create new programs and enhance existing ones.  This person will own the strategy and work with other functional teams to build, deliver and support your plans.  Key to this role is the ability to collaborate cross functionally, build training content for adult learners, ability to facilitate said training in-person or virtually, demonstrate versatility and effectively juggle different projects, adapt to change in a fast-paced environment, and most important, be an advocate for your sellers. 

Your contribution will be:

Onboarding 

  • Own the strategy for onboarding programs for Account Executives, Account Managers and Account Directors – create an onboarding program which articulate clear expectations, learning requirements and milestones to track progress and ensure AE field readiness. 
  • Planning, leading, and managing all onboarding initiatives, both content creation and delivery working closely with Sales Leadership and other key business partners to ensure their buy-in and commitment to support the program. 
  • Facilitate the onboarding sessions where needed – must have superior facilitation skills in a virtual environment with the ability to coordinate breakouts and ensure new hires practice the skills learned. 
  • Creating session learning briefs for subject matter experts so they know what is expected of them when assisting in the delivery of onboarding content; specifically, holding session dry runs, and providing real-time feedback to verify each speaker’s aptitude for onboarding delivery. 
  • Act as a liaison between new hires and their leaders. 

Continuous Learning 

  • Create a learning roadmap for each sales role to reinforce desired selling behaviors, to develop or refine core sales skills and to ensure proficiency in sales execution. 
  • Develop and deliver targeted, enablement programs for each sales role. 
  • Drive AE/AM/AD engagement in all learning programs or activities by delivering high-quality, impactful experiences. 
  • Support product launches by preparing and enabling the sales to understand and sell our solutions. 
  • Build trust and credibility with sales leadership and other GTM teams, managing a productive partnership for success. 

Enablement Content Creation 

  • Identify gaps in enablement content that could aid a seller such as sales playbooks, FAQs, Cheat Sheets, micro-learning videos, objection handling and the like. 
  • Ability to create this content in a very clear and concise manner. 

Measuring Success & Continuous Improvement 

  • Create, monitor, and report key metrics on all programs to measure productivity. 
  • Continually improve each program by identifying areas of opportunity using an ongoing survey methodology and by providing continuous feedback and coaching to all session speakers 

To be successful, we think you need:

  • Required at least 5 years of field sales onboarding and/or sales enablement experience SaaS companies; prefer mid-market experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required or relevant work experience. 
  • Program Management – must be able to take ambiguous goals and turn them into execution plans and be able to herd distinct points of view to a common a goal. 
  • Learning Design – understand and can develop training materials for learner centric adult learning  
  • Training Facilitation (ILT and VILT) – must have experience leading sales training courses virtually or in-person. 
  • Organizational Skills – must  be able to juggle multiple priorities and maintain a positive attitude and team orientation, 
  • Agility & Speed – works well under pressure, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that is constantly changing; is critical and adjusts on the fly to new demands with a sense of urgency and prioritization. 
  • Operational Skills: solid understanding of using LMS, survey and reporting tools to provide metrics to enablement and sales leadership. 
  • Measure Success – demonstrated track record of converting ideas to business impact 
  • Prefer candidates with previous field sales experience.
