About the role:

The Director, Human Resources is responsible for delivery of the HR strategy, the day-to-day execution of HR services as well as managing and developing the Regional HR team.

Working with the HR Centers of Expertise (CoEs), the Director, HR will drive the evolution of Nintex’s culture through development and delivery of programs and processes that are aligned to our business strategy and supported through Nintex’s Core Tenets. They will focus on developing a culture that is diverse in thought, backgrounds, and perspectives.

The Director, HR and team will play a pivotal role in driving business transformation, talent management and organization design and development. They are responsible for diagnosing and solving complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions and driving change to achieve business outcomes

As part of the Regional Leadership Team, the Director, HR, will handle senior stakeholder relationships across all business functions within their region.

 

Your contribution will be: 

Organizational Diagnostics & Design

  • Support Business leaders with organizational planning (i.e., talent, structure, culture, process) driven by business needs. Ensures the alignment of organizational design with business goals and leverages existing plans and tools.
  • Leads changes to new or existing programs or processes for a function, department, or geography. Fosters change with business leaders and facilitates change implementation throughout the organization.
  • Supports and guides functional leadership teams on their business and culture transformation process. Applies understanding of internal and external business drivers to guide the leadership team through ongoing business evolution and changing ways of working.
  • Supports expansion in new geographic areas, via research of best entry methods, benchmarking and business planning reviews. Works with Business, Legal and Tax to decide on best mode of entry.

Talent Management

  • Collaborates with business leaders to identify business priorities. Ensures the alignment of the people plan, people programs, and tools with business strategic goals.
  • Acts as an HR expert across the company an on the development and implementation of the holistic people plan (e.g., talent management, leadership effectiveness, diversity and inclusion, culture).
  • In partnership with Talent Development and business leadership. influences the design and implementation of strategic talent management solutions.
  • Applies knowledge of the future direction of the organization to guide talent assessment and make decisions on talent needs and solutions (e.g., whether to build, buy, or borrow talent).
  • Support development of strategic talent plans and ensure the alignment with organizational strategy, data (e.g., attrition rates, hiring trends) and budgets. Leverages Total Rewards to analyze the market competitiveness of the client organization's compensation and identifies strategies to harness the appropriate fiscal levers for driving engagement and retention.
  • Partners with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) ensures the integration of local and business perspectives into the DE&I plan to increase workforce diversity and inclusion.

Performance Management

  • Ensures execution of regular performance reviews, organizational leadership reviews, and succession planning (in conjunction with Talent Management strategy)
  • Ensure timeline performance improvement plan management and monitor progress
  • In partnership with HR CoEs, lead the implementation of effective systems and practices of performance management

HR Service Delivery and Partnerships

  • Manage regional HR policies and procedures, employee benefits programs, immigration and ensure compliance with internal policies as well as related laws, regulations and official guidance
  • Promptly and thoroughly investigate escalated employee-relations issues and HR complaints, and escalates complex or high-risk situations as needed
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of country, Federal, State, and Local employment laws and regulation
  • Plays a critical role in delivery HR CoE generated programs. Ensures that feedback and business perspectives are provided to HR CoEs.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment on strategic talent plans, to define a recruiting culture, and to reinforce leader cultivation of external talent and to build high quality slates.
  • May lead or manage Facilities-related projects or team members.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Build and manage the overall capabilities of the Regional HR team to ensure the team can deliver on their goals and KPIs.
  • Create team metrics and KPIs and provide visibility across the team to track progress and ensure accountability.
  • Complete Quarterly Check-ins on-time and provide actionable, timely feedback.
  • Review team Officevibe Dashboard and action on feedback/needs of the team.
  • Maintain Individual Development Plans for all team members.

 

To be successful we think you need: 

  • At least 15+ years of relevant HR or business experience, with at least 5 years leading HR teams at high-growth companies  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree or working experience in Human Resources, Management or Business
