Building the foundation for success
Emilio’s sales career began in Jan 2015, in his role as Account Manager/Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Nintex’s London office. Partnering with territory managers across Europe, and the MENA region, Emilio focused on generating a robust sales pipeline and learning the ropes of tech sales. Nintex became a critical training ground, teaching him the importance of teamwork, precision, and perseverance in sales.

It was in these early days that Emilio laid the groundwork for his journey at Nintex, and during which he became compelled to see the next stages of his career built here. He was surrounded by great people across the globe, there to support each other and grow. Working with a variety of peers and leaders from the UK, Europe, and the US has meant Emilio had a wide breadth of people to learn from, lean into, and develop skills alongside.

A transition to Account Development Manager marked a significant milestone in Emilio’s career. Tasked with a $1 million sales quota, he embraced the challenge with determination and delivered remarkable results—achieving target in his first full year.

Tech sales is tough, but finding a market-changing product like Nintex meant Emilio could be part of the genuine impact the business was having on it’s customers and huge potential for more impact in the market.
Leading and inspiring teams

Recognizing Emilio’s leadership potential, Emilio’s manager at the time, Perry Gale, saw something in him and wanted to give him the opportunity to shine.
Emilio was empowered and entrusted by Perry with the responsibility of building and leading an inside sales team. His promotion to Team Lead was a defining moment, where he led the business development team and account managers. Emilio found immense fulfillment in nurturing talent, fostering collaboration, and empowering his team members to achieve their best.

After two years of excelling as an account manager and team leader, Emilio’s contributions were rewarded with a promotion to Manager of the Inside Sales team. Under his leadership, the team grew from four to twelve, consistently achieving quotas and setting new standards of excellence. His ability to drive growth and foster a strong team culture led to another well-deserved promotion.
Scaling new heights and a new chapter
Over the next several years, Emilio’s responsibilities expanded significantly. He led a talented team of 24 direct reports and continued to achieve extraordinary results.
Today, Emilio celebrates his latest achievement: a promotion to Vice President of Sales for Europe at Nintex. This role is a culmination of years of hard work, strategic thinking, and inspirational leadership.
And his appointment to VP may be the latest – but it’s not the greatest for Emilio.
“My greatest joy comes from being a dad to my four amazing children (two girls and two boys, ranging from 6 years old to 9 months). Weekends are a delightful whirlwind of activities, from sports fields to playgrounds, as we make memories together. When I’m not with my family, you’ll find me exploring new music and fashion trends—I love finding inspiration to update my wardrobe.
