Nintex turns ten in Kuala Lumpur

What is your favorite Nintex tenet and why is it important to you?

If I had to choose one, it would be don’t wait, as this goes hand-in-hand with my current responsibilities, to always act fast, and provide the best service to our clients.

What do you love most about being part of the KL team?

I haven’t got the chance to meet the KL team in person due to remote working and location constraints, but I truly feel the warm welcome and friendliness of the team. Oh, and not to forget the occasional gifts and fruit baskets for holiday celebrations!

What is your favorite Nintex capability and why?

My favorite would be the no/low code capability. This allows everyone to build processes, workflows, and connections, even those with little to no technical background.  Any user in a company can be trained to use Nintex and create workflows and forms for their business.

What is your favorite Nintex tenet and why is it important to you?

My favorite tenet is don’t wait. It has really impacted my personal way of working, and how I encourage team members to work as well. Now, whenever a team member sees a problem, we all quickly act on it, and work to resolve it, instead of waiting for approvals or for someone else to act. We implemented this tenet in our feature developments, and it’s now a big part of how we work. Whenever there are enhancements required in other services, we do them ourselves instead of waiting for service owners to be free, which might delay delivery of the feature. This tenet has helped our team members learn about other services and improve their knowledge.

What do you love most about being part of the KL team?

The best part of being part of the Nintex KL team is the people and the culture. In the first few weeks of joining Nintex, I knew that this was the right place for me to be. There are a few things that I really like about the people and culture:

We value and encourage work-life balance. After 6 pm most people end their work and spend time with friends and families.

We encourage people to take breaks, like annual leave, to travel or spend time with their families.

We respect other people, their opinions, their likes and dislikes, and the best part is that we take action to fix problems instead of ignoring them.

We have Friday chillouts, team lunches, different cultural and religious events, and celebrations that create good opportunities for everyone to learn, understand and accept each other.

It’s super easy and comfortable to work with anyone in KL office. People here are very helpful and make sure they share information with you whenever you require it.

What is your favorite Nintex capability and why?

I like the way Nintex Workflow Cloud (NWC) is designed in terms of openness and flexibility, and it is easily customizable:

The platform provides capabilities to users to integrate with multiple SaaS providers.

It allows you to create tokens, use developer APIs and create your own application for your company to list tasks or instances for users.

Last but not least, it allows users to create their own actions (or SaaS provider integrations that are not available in NWC), upload it via Xtensions, and use them in their workflows, without waiting for Nintex to provide support.

What is your favorite Nintex tenet and why is it important to you?

Operate with respect and consideration.  I think this is important to create a positive environment for people to feel comfortable and build trust to work together for success.  And it applies both among colleagues within the organization, as well as with customers.

What do you love most about being part of the KL team?

Caring and helpful colleagues, and work-life balance.

What is your favorite Nintex capability and why?

Nintex RPA because it keeps human manual intervention to a minimum, and that’s really cool.

What is your favorite Nintex tenet and why is it important to you?

Don’t wait. It has become the way I work daily. As soon as I notice an issue, I start troubleshooting to identify the root cause and find ways to resolve it.

What do you love most about being part of the KL team?

I remember prior to the COVID-19 lockdown, I always looked forward to festivals and significant event celebrations that we organize in the KL office. Also, teams often share their knowledge broadly with other teams on recent learnings and new technologies. It offers a great opportunity for everyone to grow.

What is your favorite Nintex capability and why?

Our product integration between workflow, forms, and mobile is pretty cool. Nintex Mobile allows customers to submit forms on their mobile phone or tablet devices and this integrates seamlessly to kickstart their business process, designed on Nintex Workflow.
