BC Ferries has 35 ships and 47 terminals in British Columbia, Canada. Their company mission is to provide safe, reliable and efficient marine transportation services that consistently exceed the expectations of its customers, employees, and communities.
Maintaining up-to-date printed policies and procedures on its ships and at terminals presented major challenges due to a laborious process of sign-offs and confusion about who needed to approve what. BC Ferries wanted to revamp its manual methods for updating policies and procedures to consistently follow best practices and comply with changing regulations. They turned to Nintex and IT partner, itgroove, to streamline the approval process.
