Enterprise editions of Nintex Mobile and Nintex Forms for SharePoint and Office 365 Deliver Custom Branded Apps Compatible with Major Mobile Operating Systems and Mobile Device Management Software
ORLANDO | 2015 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference—July 14, 2015—Nintex, the global standard in workflow automation, today launched two new enterprise-grade workflow automation software for companies to drive productivity and engagement for global workforces who are located in the office or in the field, from laptops to mobile devices, and when connected or offline.
Nintex Mobile Enterprise Edition and Nintex Forms Enterprise Edition enable organizations to easily automate complex forms-driven business processes by integrating with web services, packaged and custom databases, and business applications. Both have been designed to drive the adoption and management of these processes through custom branded mobile applications.
“Mobile first is an objective many businesses charge of their IT teams when building applications,” said IT analyst Carl Lehmann of 451 Research. “But mobility poses challenges about how to access, expose and secure data from systems like SharePoint and Office 365; how to use native device capabilities; and how to assure that work is productively improved. Overcoming such challenges requires a secure mobile appdev platform and native mobile forms creation tools tied to an adaptable workflow engine like what is now offered by Nintex.”
Nintex Mobile Enterprise gives customers the ability to custom-brand up to five native mobile apps in a few easy steps through an intuitive web interface that builds deployable app packages in minutes. Employees can keep their processes going wherever they are by reviewing or approving documents, filling out forms that include supporting photos, videos, and other attachments, and delegating tasks to quickly get work done while online or offline.
“Enterprises run on hundreds, if not thousands, of processes every day—all of which can have significant impact on the pace of innovation, customer satisfaction, employee retention, and more,” said Nintex VP of Product Ryan Duguid. “Nintex is committed to giving our partners and customers the ability to automate and evolve these processes through configurable and manageable workflow, forms, and mobile applications to effectively address business needs now and in the future.”
Building on Nintex’s acquisition of intellectual property related to the Nintex Action Pack developed by ProSymmetry, a Nintex Premier Technology Partner, Nintex Forms Enterprise includes the ability to bring external database connectivity to forms and custom-branded native mobile applications to users. Customers can quickly create and publish web and mobile-app-ready forms using Nintex’s drag-and-drop designer in SharePoint. Ultimately, customers will be able to print forms in PDF and build more dynamic forms with data validations, conditional display areas, and custom formatting to support richer interactions.
“As the largest operator of restaurants, pubs and bars in the United Kingdom, we need to know what’s going on at every location—from daily inventory updates to food safety checks,” said Mitchells and Butlers’ Business Analyst Darren Slade. “One of the great things about Nintex Forms Enterprise is the ability to add attachments and add in pictures directly on the forms to help with the processes. The drag-and-drop design, offline data, and the ability to very quickly create custom-branded forms makes our jobs easier and better so we can focus on a great dining experience for our guests.”
Nintex Mobile Enterprise and Nintex Forms Enterprise will be available to worldwide partners and customers on July 22. The Nintex Mobile App is free and downloadable on the App Store, Google Play, and Windows Store.
