Chief Executive Officer
John joined Nintex as CEO in 2013. Prior to Nintex, John was a general partner and co-founder of Updata Partners (updata.com), a leading technology growth equity fund with over $700 million under management, where he led highly successful investments across software and digital sectors. In prior operating roles, he served as CEO of LEGENT, a public corporation acquired by CA for more than $1.8 billion in cash. Prior, he co-founded BST, Inc., which combined with LEGENT Corporation, resulting in him becoming CEO.
As an expert in strategy and positioning, John has complemented strong organic growth with acquisitions and has been involved with more than 30 M&A events and IPOs. He’s served on many public and private boards of directors, including Coaxis, Interactions, Numara, OTG Software, MapInfo and Banyan Systems, among others.
Active in the technology community, John is the former Chairman of the MidAtlantic Venture Association (MAVA), and a co-founder of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC).
John graduated with honors from Boston College.
Chief Financial Officer
Eric brings nearly two decades of financial and operational experience at mid-size and large technology companies to Nintex.
Prior to joining Nintex, Eric served as vice president of finance for Jive Software, where he helped lead the company through its IPO process. Before Eric served as vice president of worldwide sales operations at Serena Software. He also held financial and operational leadership positions at Merant, InFocus Corporation and IBM (formerly Sequent).
Eric graduated with honors from the University of Portland with a degree in finance.
Chief Technology Officer
Alain Gentilhomme brings more than 25 years of experience with product development, product management and technical leadership experience to Nintex.
Prior to joining Nintex, Alain was senior vice president of engineering and product management at Parallels, where he provided technology leadership and led the company’s product strategy. Before that, he was senior vice president of engineering at Acronis. His technology background includes 12 years at Microsoft as a group program manager, director and technical evangelist for several different groups.
Alain has an electrical engineering degree from the Grenoble National Polytechnic University, and a master’s degree and PhD in electrical engineering from Grenoble INP, the PhD focused on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
Chief Revenue Officer
Christian brings more than 20 years of experience in technology sales and marketing to Nintex. He’s been directly involved in the creation and growth of several SaaS businesses as a direct founder, executive or advisor.
Before joining Nintex, Christian was group vice president of customer experience at Oracle, where he led sales activities for the company’s full suite of service automation applications. Prior to that role, he was vice president of worldwide sales for Oracle Commerce Optimization Services, a position he held at ATG prior to its acquisition by Oracle in 2011. Before joining ATG, Christian served as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Daptiv.
Christian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington.
Chief Legal Officer
Jeffrey brings more than 23 years’ experience to Nintex as a senior executive and chief legal officer. Prior to his role as CLO at Nintex, Jeffrey was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV.) Prior to F5 Networks, he was Sr. Vice President and General Counsel of Western Wireless Corporation. Prior, he served as Sr. Vice President of Business Development and General Counsel at Wizards of the Coast, Inc. In prior roles, Jeffrey served as General Counsel and Secretary of Heart Technology, Vice President and General Counsel of Spider Staging Corporation and VP of Administration and Corporate Counsel for Flow International Corporation after its acquisition of Spider Staging Corporation. Jeffrey was a partner in the Seattle law firm of Stafford Frey Cooper with a general business, commercial, product liability and securities litigation practice.
Jeffrey received a B.A. from Whitman College and a J.D. from the University of Washington, and is a former chairman of the Executive Committee of the Corporate Counsel section of the Washington State Bar Association.
