The asset management branch of this financial services firm has over 250 employees and operates as an independent entity within the investment/insurance group. It has its own data center, network, and IT infrastructure.

A principal technical engineer manages enterprise architecture, SharePoint environments and more, including the organization’s use of the Nintex Platform, which his role took on in 2011.

Before using Nintex, the firm had many paper-based processes and manual tasks that were inefficient and not secure. This included basic administrative workflow tasks such as time off and work-from-home requests, internal documentation, and calendar scheduling.

Using Nintex, the firm has automated a growing number and variety of workplace processes.

This started with simple approvals for flexible work, time off, and holiday requests, and later moved into document approvals and calendar management systems. With automation, previously complex tasks such as user onboarding, Active Directory provisioning, and user account management could be completed much quicker than before.
