What’s New: Forms Version Control for Nintex for Office 365
Managing collaborative, company-wide projects can be complicated. These types of projects often require many rounds of ideation, design, feedback, and sign-off.
Imagine you are designing a Nintex Form in Office 365. After many hours of work creating and testing the form, your manager tells you that the scope of your project has changed, which requires you to revert back to the version you were working on three days ago.
We’ve been there, and we have a solution. Introducing: ‘Version control’ with Nintex Forms for Office 365, rolling out this month.
Form Versioning
If you find yourself having to go back a few steps in your design process, it is now simple to revert to an older version and work through more iterations of your Nintex Form.
Here is the process:
- In the ribbon of the designer, select ‘Versions’.
2. Click ‘Restore’ to select the version you want to revert to.
3. Selecting ‘publish’ will create a major version (e.g. 3.0), while selecting ‘save’ or ‘save and close’ creates a minor version (e.g. 3.1). This is similar to how the versioning feature works in Nintex Workflow for Office 365.
