Take control of your RPA bots for greater efficiency and security with Nintex RPA Central

Companies leveraging robotic process automation for digital transformation sometimes find it challenging to control and orchestrate their bots to optimize efficiencies and ensure that the highest-priority tasks are executed first.

The recent launch of Nintex RPA Central addresses these challenges by delivering an easy-to-use, powerful web-based interface that provides end-users with a sophisticated, centralized location to orchestrate, administer and secure RPA bots. Nintex RPA Central simplifies bot assignment and scheduling, two keys to maximizing bot efficiency.

“Our clients rely heavily on Nintex RPA because of its power and how quick it is to automate repetitive enterprise processes,” said Kyle Seitz, Senior Digital Transformation Engineer at Orange Grove Partners. “With the new administration and security features in Nintex RPA Central, we’re excited to tackle even bigger projects.”

A centralized location for all your bot management needs

In addition to providing robust enterprise-grade encryption, Nintex RPA Central utilizes role-based access controls (RBAC) that make it easy to manage access and permissions, simplifying administration of users to limit risk and improve compliance. Users have access to the power of Nintex RPA, while IT and Operations professionals can monitor and control access.

“Nintex RPA Central provides a one-stop location for securely administering your RPA bots, task assignments, and users,” says Nintex Chief Product Officer Neal Gottsacker. “Nintex’s process platform and RPA capabilities make it fast, easy, and cost-effective for every organization to successfully manage, automate, and optimize enterprise-wide business processes.”

Nintex RPA Central allows admins to manage and control botflow licenses and access to bots. It is installed on a single, on-premise machine, while the RPA Central web application can be accessed from other machines within the same domain using a browser. Permitted users can easily access RPA Central by using the same username and password they use to log into their work computer.

Benefits of Nintex RPA Central

Nintex RPA Central delivers new, advanced benefits for IT admins so they can feel comfortable allowing business users to leverage RPA to quickly and cost-effectively automate routine tasks without writing code. Admins can quickly and easily manage bots, licenses, and users. They can efficiently publish and unpublish botflows and can review, approve or deny bots from joining Nintex RPA Central.

Improved security with encrypted communication between Nintex RPA Central and RPA bots as well as Active Directory Authentication provides peace of mind. Also, an on-premises Microsoft SQL database provides centralized storage for the organization’s botflows. The database is fully encrypted with a unique security certificate for each organization.
