Over the past few weeks, you might have realized that your Nintex Workflow Cloud® tenant has a new, refreshed appearance! Recently, we have made efforts to make the new Nintex Workflow Cloud user interface cleaner and more accessible by moving away from dark greys and large swaths of orange.
You may have also noticed two new links – one that directs you to the Nintex Solution Accelerator Gallery for Nintex Workflow Cloud workflows and the other to Custom Connectors. We hope that this makes accessing these valuable resources even easier for our users.
Additionally, to more tightly align the Gallery and Nintex Workflow Cloud, we updated the Solution Accelerator Gallery UI. Let’s look at some of the recent changes to the Solutions Accelerator Gallery!
Cards are a great way of displaying information on the templates available in the Gallery. However, the prior design of the cards presented information that could best be displayed elsewhere, and took up too much real estate on the Gallery page. To solve this issue and simplify the interface, we updated the template cards with the following:
- Open the template by clicking the template title
- Download icon has replaced the download button
- Capability label in template cards removed in favor of displaying filtered results at the page level
The left-hand navigation previously contained menu options to select capabilities and departments related to the available templates. By displaying all the menu options, a user would need to scroll a fair amount down the page. To reduce the amount of room taken up by the left-hand navigation, the menu was set to be a collapsible filter selection.
Next, we’ve added an entirely new industry-based filter category to the left-hand navigation. When searching for an appropriate template, the ability to see industry-related content will assist users to get their templates faster.
As you choose your menu selections, the selected values will appear above the available templates.
Updated solutions page
When a user clicks on the template title, a new tab will open in their browser. This will present additional information on template configuration or settings required to get up and running quickly. The updated solutions page will now capture your Nintex Workflow Tenant name (if you linked directly from your Nintex Workflow Cloud tenant) and allow you to quickly import the template into your tenant.
We always appreciate feedback on the Nintex Solution Accelerator Gallery and strive to include quality changes to improve your experience. We have made the following changes to increase usability:
- Improved customer journey with labeled steps
- The newest templates displayed first to make it easier to discover what has been newly added to the Gallery
With the latest update, you may also notice that Nintex Workflow for SharePoint and Nintex Workflow for Office 365 templates are no longer displayed on the Nintex Solutions Gallery. This is due to a low number of templates being produced, requested, and downloaded from the Gallery. Those Nintex Workflow templates are still available to download from the Nintex Solutions Gallery GitHub repository here.
