Nintex Q&A with Elise Harrington

The 2020 Nintex Solution Innovation Award winners were just announced! Congratulations to the winners – and all the finalists – who found new ways to improve the way they work. We interviewed Elise Harrington to find out more about the program and how her role interacts with Nintex customers.

1. First, can you tell us about your role here at Nintex?

I manage our Customer Evidence program, which means I have the honor of working with our customers around the world to learn how they’re using Nintex to modernize and transform the way they work. I capture their success stories to create case studies, blog posts, videos, webinars, ProcessFest sessions, and more.

I’m also responsible for our customer awards program – the Nintex Solution Innovation Awards. I’m the first person to read our nominations – and they do get better and better every year!

2. You just announced the winners of the 2020 Nintex Solution Innovation Awards – what set this year’s submissions apart from past years?

The quality of nominations to this year’s program was top notch. This was our most competitive awards program yet, and I know that our judges had a hard time narrowing down the winners.

The majority of submissions were solutions based on Nintex Workflow and Nintex Forms, as well as Nintex Drawloop DocGen®, Nintex RPA, and Nintex Promapp®. We also had the most nominations to date for solutions created with Nintex Workflow Cloud.

One aspect unique to this year was how customers are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic – and new business contingency requirements as a result – with Nintex. There were so many nominations related to this that we decide to make Business Continuity its own category.

We were thrilled to recognized National Gallery Singapore, which rolled out a visitor registration form very early on in response to COVID-19.

3. Can you tell us a little about a solution that stood out to you?

It is hard to narrow it down to just one!

Our 2020 Nintex Champion, Zoom, leveraged Nintex Workflow Cloud to streamline and digitize its channel sales order process. With this solution, Zoom automated 90 percent of its channel-driven orders, saving 15 man-hours per day and helping Zoom customers more quickly use their enterprise video communications platform. And this solution came at a time so critical to supporting remote workers!

I also loved our Nintex Promapp nominated solutions. So many customers are truly creating a culture centered around process excellence and it is amazing how Nintex Promapp is a critical part of their efforts.

4. What other projects do you manage within Customer Evidence?

Honestly, it varies by week and time of year! Earlier this week I moderated a Go back to work, safely, differently, and digitally webinar with Aragon Research and our customer BNBuilders. The webinar was centered around trends, predictions, and best practices for going back to work. Shawn Namdar from BNBuilders shared how they quickly responded to new business contingency plans by implementing a mobile daily check-in form built on Nintex Workflow Cloud.

5. What upcoming projects are you gearing up for?

This time last year I was getting ready to film my first customer video with the City of Garland and planning my trip to Australia and New Zealand to film our Auswide Bank and Hawke’s Bay Regional Council videos.

Things look a bit different this year, but we haven’t slowed down in the least!

COVID-19 has presented a lot of challenges to every company – and Nintex customers have seized the opportunity to leverage process management and automation in their response.

We have an abundance of written case studies in the works and I’m only expecting more as we enter the second half of 2020. I’m also exploring new ways to capture our customer success stories – so stay tuned!

We’re also getting ready to announce our 2020 Nintex Partner Award finalists and winners. Our partners have been an incredible help sourcing new customer stories and are critical to so much of the success stories of our customers.

We have so many customers and partners doing amazing things with Nintex – it truly makes my role very exciting and inspiring!
