Navigating the retirement of SharePoint 2010 workflows in Microsoft 365

As many of you know, Microsoft has recently announced the retirement of SharePoint 2010 workflows in Microsoft 365. On August 1, 2020 SharePoint 2010 workflows will be turned off for all new tenants, and will be removed from existing tenants on November 1.

Microsoft’s announcement does not impact existing Nintex customers who leverage Nintex for SharePoint or Nintex for Office 365 to automate work.

In just a few months, those affected Microsoft 365 customers will need to identify an alternative solution for the workflows that will no longer be supported. Microsoft’s statement: “Starting 11/1/2020 6:00:00 AM, SharePoint 2010 workflows will be retired and users will no longer have the ability to run or create 2010 Workflows.”

Thankfully, Nintex, a trusted Microsoft partner and leader in workflow and process automation, is committed to helping your organization find a solution to keep your workflows running effectively.
