Looking back: Four months of Workflow Wonders

While we can’t be together in-person or at the office, we wanted a way to connect and deliver inspiration to the Nintex community. We started our newest customer webinar series, Workflow Wonders, to share inspiring success stories from Nintex customers that are using technology to transform the way people work.

Since we launched Workflow Wonders in August, we have welcomed six customers and two partners who have shared their Nintex success stories. Customers have shared how they’re using Nintex to digitally transform operations, achieve process excellence, improve customer experiences, respond to COVID-19, and even automate project management.

Here are my top inspirations from our first six episodes of Workflow Wonders!

Sparking a culture of continuous process improvement

The City of Hobart, an Australian local government council, also shared their Nintex Promapp® success story on Workflow Wonders in November. Peter Carr, Director of City Innovation at City of Hobart, discussed how the city has leveraged Nintex Promapp to spark a culture of continuous process improvement.

Surpassing goals with Nintex RPA

Kyle Barton, IT Manager – Enterprise Automation & Analysis at Midland States Bank joined Workflow Wonders in October and shared how the bank is using Nintex to automate and streamline critical customer processes across its business, including the bank’s outgoing wire process.

Perhaps the most impressive part of Midland States Bank’s success story is how Kyle and his team already surpassed their goal to deliver 200 automation efficiencies in 2020. At the time of the webinar with two months left in the year, Kyle and his team had already delivered the bank 241 efficiencies resulting in over 7,000 hours saved and $264,787 in costs.

Adapting operations to navigate COVID-19 restrictions

National Gallery Singapore was one of the first Nintex customers to share how they responded to the global pandemic with a visitor registration form to support contact tracing built on Nintex Workflow Cloud. The organization also joined Workflow Wonders to discuss how they continued to adapt their first solution to new guidelines with Nintex partner SRKK.

When the country reopened for Phase 2, the Gallery worked with SRKK to update their contact tracing solution to include a capacity and queue management system. The Gallery must strictly manage capacity numbers at its location and the solution helps ensure that the Gallery is never overcapacity, allowing the Gallery to reopen with safe management measures in place.

Don’t just automate it – improve it

Lands’ End Senior Project Manager, Zach Munns joined Workflow Wonders in September to share how they’re using Nintex to support their digital transformation journey. Before sharing how Lands’ End automated its customer order process, Munns discussed the significance of value-stream mapping to identify the most difficult processes and desired improvements to remove bottlenecks and eliminate errors.

“Automating a process is not solving a problem – it is just automating a problem,” he shares. “It’s imperative to work smarter, not harder, and that’s what Nintex helps us to do.”

Munns and the business process management team leverage the insights from value-stream mapping to determine the best ways to leverage Nintex Workflows and Forms to eliminate hurdles from manual steps. Freeing employees from manual processes

Our first-ever Workflow Wonders guest, Williams Engineering Canada, shared how Nintex is a part of the company’s digital transformation journey. The engineering firm is using Nintex Workflows and Forms to support solutions across its business in HR, operations, and safety. The solutions save time, reduce errors, and improve employee experience – but the most inspiring part of this episode was why Williams embarked on its digital transformation journey in the first place.
