Nintex Solution Innovation Awards
The 2021 Nintex Solution Innovation Awards recognized 18 organizations across regions and industries for their transformative success leveraging the Nintex Process Platform. These organizations used Nintex capabilities for process automation and management to implement innovative solutions that delivered impactful benefits across their business.
Hernando County Schools
Hernando County Schools is reinventing its top-ten business processes with the Nintex Process Platform. At the top of the district’s priorities was the issuance of building permits and the approval process.
By leveraging Nintex Forms, Nintex Workflow, and Nintex DocGen®, Hernando County Schools created an easy-to-use solution that cuts employee document handling in half, provides real-time status tracking, and reduces licensing costs by 80%.
Next, the district plans to automate the process of concurrency reviews for residential developments where they calculate how many additional students they’ll likely enroll from each new development – typically a two-hour process, each.
The company’s existing use of Nintex made it KBR’s tool of choice for a new Travel Management Plan. KBR implemented the Nintex Process Platform to enable a Travel Management Plan that delivers customized safety information to employees and feeds Power BI analysis tools that help guide company policy and action.
Using Nintex Workflow and Forms, KBR is delivering faster response when traveling employees need help and achieving a 90-99% compliance rate for travel documentation requirements and travel booking.
KBR is also leveraging Nintex Workflow to enable greater sustainability, manage the routing and approval of engineering documents, support procurement, and to facilitate bids in response to RFPs.
New Belgium Brewing Co.
New Belgium Brewing Co. uses Nintex as “the Swiss army knife” of their technology stack. Twelve years ago, New Belgium Brewing had streamlined and automated workflow solutions for everything from human resources and sales to tracking beer shelf life. They also recently, developed solution with Nintex Workflow Cloud® to automate and standardize the way the company handles privacy requests from its California customers.
In August, New Belgium Brewing’s Tye Eden joined Workflow Wonders to share details on the role Nintex has in two more business processes: a sales incentive program, and its employee volunteer program.
Tye shared how he built an initial proof of concept in just a few hours for the company’s new sales incentive program. Once launched, the solution leveraged Nintex Workflow Cloud, Nintex for Office 365, Microsoft Power Apps, and Nintex Forms to support and track the initiative.
Using Nintex Forms and Nintex Workflow, the company has also implemented a solution that makes it easy for New Belgium coworkers to submit volunteer hours, receive additional PTO, and track the company’s community impact. The volunteer reporting data is fed into a Power BI dashboard which provides visibility into the impact they are making in the communities and causes they’re supporting.
