What happened at the Digital Government Symposium?
And that’s a wrap. The inaugural Nintex Digital Government Symposium has now come to a close. If you missed our virtual event on the 25th of August, it is now available to watch on-demand.
As I mentioned in one of my earlier Nintex Digital Government Symposium blogs, government organizations today are faced with an immense amount of pressure to provide the best possible experience for citizens and employees alike. Anything less could turn into a digital shouting match and potential negative press coverage.
During our Symposium, we touched on the concept of digital fitness, a regimented approached to transforming your organization. Within digital fitness, there are four pillars:
- Improving citizen experience
- Creating a process culture
- Develop operational excellence
- Drive continuous innovation
Each of these pillars were explored by a Nintex partner or customer who provided concrete details on the challenges they faced – especially during COVID. Then we outlined the steps they took to alleviate those issues. For instance, under citizen experience we featured Jeremy Johnson from Nintex Partner, Publicis Sapient, and Julie Gaillard (North Carolina Department of Public Safety) to discuss how they leveraged the Nintex platform to distribute $117M of emergency rental assistance in an expedited fashion. From start to finish, the solution was built in under just 2.5 weeks.
Alongside our partners and customers, we featured Phil Bertolini, Vice President from Center for Digital Government, as the event’s keynote speaker who touched on the importance of technology and how government organizations should think about some of the hottest issues they’re facing today, such as capital planning, project management, and cloud migration.
During the event, we also announced some exciting upcoming updates, including FedRAMP in-process status and our work around a new Canadian data center to better serve our North American customers.
If you missed this event, make sure you check out our on-demand recording of the virtual event. We welcome the opportunity to discuss the challenges that your agency is facing to figure out how we can overcome them.
