Customers doing good with Nintex: Part 3 ft. K2 Software

Last year I shared our first post about doing good with Nintex, highlighting how organizations are leveraging the Nintex Process Platform to improve efficiency, and free up time to better support their mission and enrich the communities they serve. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, this week we wanted to show a little love for our K2 Software customers doing good in their communities.

To me, the best part of any acquisition is welcoming new team members and customers to the Nintex Community – and there is no shortage of organizations supporting their communities with K2 Software.

Matchis Foundation

Stem cell transplants are a lifesaving treatment for 900,000+ patients diagnosed with a form of blood cancer each year, but 70% of patients who need the treatment have no compatible family members to donate. Matchis is a Dutch Foundation that helps patients with leukemia and other severe blood disorders receive stem cell transplantation by finding a matching donor as quickly as possible.

As the foundation’s donor register grew, so did the workload for its team that arranges donations once donors have been matched. Matchis worked with Nintex partner Indocs to implement a solution leveraging Nintex K2 Five to manage all the steps the donor services team needs to complete for the 25-40 matched donors each month, including generating necessary paperwork and tracking the status of each task.

With Nintex K2 Five, Matchis ensures that all necessary administration steps are completed correctly and in compliance with national and global donor regulations. Matchis estimates that the solution saves more than 2 hours for each donor request, freeing up their employee so they can focus on helping more patients.

Wales and West Housing

Wales and West Housing (WWH) owns and manages affordable homes for seniors and people with special needs throughout Wales. The social housing charity was founded in 1968 and provides housing services to more than 22,000 people each year.

The charity is leveraging Nintex K2 Cloud and Nintex K2 SmartForms for various business processes that support operations, including its maintenance and care professionals. WWH implemented a mobile solution that allows employees in the field to collect data about maintenance jobs and automatically route the information to relevant back office systems. Field staff can also now access historical property repair information on-site using any mobile device.

Chris O’Brien Lifehouse

Based in Sydney, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse is a not-for-profit comprehensive cancer hospital. The mission of Chris O’Brien Lifehouse is to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and their families by advancing the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure, and prevention of the disease.

The hospital is leveraging Nintex K2 Five for workflows and forms to gain greater visibility into processes, save time, and integrate its information across numerous systems. The organization has implemented several K2 Software solutions across the organization including an automated solution for policies and procedures, and a printing application workflow.

The policies and procedures solution allows staff to submit documents for review and assign tasks to reviewers with feedback mechanisms and task allocations along the way. The solution also provides visibility into the status of workflows without the need for developer intervention. With Nintex K2 Five, Lifehouse helps enable process accountability and improves productivity across the back and front office, allowing Chris O’Brien staff more time to focus on the patients they serve.
