Customer Spotlight: The United States Olympic Committee

Before athletes step onto the playing field, sports organizations usually require some form of paperwork to be filled out by their players. From professional leagues with sports contracts to little leagues with parental permission waivers, the number of forms stacks up. Manually processing these forms becomes a logistical challenge when you’re responsible for thousands of athletes like the United States Olympic Committee (USOC).

Manually processing thousands of forms

The USOC is responsible for supporting, entering, and overseeing U.S. teams for the Olympic, Paralympic, Youth Olympic, Pan American, and Parapan American Games, while serving as the steward of the Olympic and Paralympic movements in the U.S. In addition, USOC manages documentation for two U.S. Olympic Training Centers (OTCs) in Colorado and New York. Not only do these OTCs train thousands of elite athletes each year, but they host amateur training camps as well.

For every visit to a training center, an athlete is required to complete extensive paperwork including waivers, codes of conduct, and demographic surveys. To take advantage of the insurance coverage provided by the USOC, athletes must also receive, complete, and return paperwork, within a tight deadline.
