Conversations with Nintex Customers at Microsoft Ignite

This week in Orlando more than 30,000 technology professionals converged at Microsoft Ignite, the company’s annual user conference. I spent the past four days meeting Nintex customers at the event and heard first-hand the innovative things that they are doing with the Nintex Platform.

Here are the top four topics our customers discussed at Ignite:

Why Nintex? It’s EASY

One of the first and most enthusiastic responses I heard when I asked our customers why they use Nintex was always about how easy our platform is to use.

Customers shared that they can easily build sophisticated solutions without code, as well as empower their clients and colleagues to digitize and automate their own processes.

“The barrier to entry is so low. Anyone can use it even if they aren’t technical, all they need is a little training.”

Why Nintex? Simple Sophistication

Another popular feature of the Nintex Platform is the ability to create custom, automated workflows and forms beyond what’s possible with SharePoint Designer or Microsoft Flow – all without code.

Many customers shared that they transitioned to Nintex because the actions and functions they needed just weren’t possible in SharePoint Designer, or required extensive coding and development.

“It’s much more than just an alternative to SharePoint Designer. We’ve used it to easily digitize entire processes that connect directly into the other business applications we use.”

Nintex to Improve            Experience

The best part of Ignite for me was getting to meet our customers and hear all the ways they are using Nintex to digitally transform their organizations. One thing that really stuck out was that many customers were using Nintex to improve some aspect of experience – whether for their employees or customers.

“We’ve used Nintex to transform workflows that were managed entirely by email to a simple form and automated workflow that does the rest.”

One higher education organization shared how they’ve used Nintex to improve the student experience. In just a few months, this organization used Nintex to streamline the process to get a student ID, add or drop classes, and more. Nintex has made the administrative processes that traditionally cause headaches and paper work, fast and easy for students and staff.

Most Excited About? Promapp®!

One of the first questions we heard from customers visiting the Nintex booth was, “What’s new?” And no matter the customer, they were most excited to hear about our new process mapping capabilities with Nintex’s latest acquisition of Promapp®.

Customers shared that their current tools for process mapping don’t cut it and were excited to see the visual canvas for process mapping.

“I have a background in process engineering and I’m excited to see how this can help us improve what we’re already accomplishing with Nintex.”

I like to think that we have the best customers in the world. After meeting with so many of them this week, I know we do. I heard amazing things about the innovative solutions Nintex customers are delivering to their organizations with our technology.

This year I depart Microsoft Ignite more excited than ever about what each and every one of our customers do next with the Nintex Platform.
