At Nintex, culture is an essential element in our success.
It is what defines us, unites us and makes us a Great Place to Work. Every day our team members embody our culture when they go “above and beyond” to support our customers, partners and each other. We believe it is critical to recognize and celebrate these outstanding contributions, so we created the Nintex Impact Award.
The Nintex Impact Award celebrates and promotes the success of individuals and teams who encompass what it means to work at Nintex. Winners show exceptional contributions and behavior aligned to our core values:
Congratulations to Our First Winner
We’re excited to share the winner of our first Nintex Impact Award – Andy Gunawan, Territory Manager in the Asia-Pacific region. Andy joined Nintex nearly 4 years ago, time which he says has gone by in the blink of an eye.
When Andy started, he was the only Territory Manager in Asia. The team has grown since then and Andy recently relocated to Singapore from Melbourne to be closer to his partners and customers.
“When I was asked if I supported Andy receiving the first Nintex Impact Award my answer was a resounding yes,” says Brian Walshe, Nintex VP of APAC Sales. “The award recognizes people who are not just are good at their job but also go above and beyond.
“Andy gives 120% to Nintex – whether it’s helping out a partner or customer, or helping someone on the team. Andy is always there to help regardless of the time or day.”
Our great culture is a big part of the reason Andy says he enjoys working at Nintex. Andy’s colleagues agree that he is also what makes Nintex a great place to work.
“There are people that love their job, but Andy also loves the company and his willingness to do whatever it takes to help make Nintex a better company is what sets him apart,” says Brian.
About the Nintex Impact Award
Any employee or team who did outstanding work and demonstrates our values can be nominated for the Nintex Impact Award (via Nintex Forms of course!).
Winners are selected quarterly by our CEO, John Burton. In addition to being recognized company-wide through posters, company meetings and an award, Andy also received personal awards:
- Congratulatory call and a lunch or dinner with John Burton: We think this achievement is deserving of an in-person congratulations from our CEO.
- $1,500, with ½ to the winner and ½ to the charity of their choice: It’s important to honor our employees by also supporting the causes dear to them.
- Work for one week in a Nintex global office of their choice (Bellevue, Irvine, Kuala Lumpur, London or Melbourne): We believe it’s all about the people – strengthening relationships and building global perspective that improves our work together.
Andy chose to give his charitable donation to CARE Australia’s efforts to improve education in Timor-Leste (the closest appeal between Indonesia and Australia – the two countries Andy calls home).
CARE is a global organization that works to combat poverty, save lives and achieve social justice. The CARE cause Andy supported is focused on helping disadvantaged children by teaching students basic literary and numeral skills as well as educating them on important topics related to health, hygiene, nutrition and agriculture.
Nintex is growing fast, which Andy says creates opportunity for employees to grow and learn beyond their current role. And with our global presence, the opportunity to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds. He hasn’t decided which office he’ll choose to visit yet, but says it will likely be London as that’s the only Nintex office he’s yet to visit.
Andy is a role model of our Nintex values through his dedication to his team, partners and customers.
Congratulations again, Andy! We look forward to the great things you will continue to do at Nintex.
