Nintex expands cloud options for Canadian customers with new data centre in 2021

As Nintex’s Chief Product Officer, I am pleased to share that organizations in Canada, especially those with strict data residency requirements, will soon benefit from the automation ease and power of Nintex Workflow Cloud and Nintex DocGen® as they become available within our Canadian data centre.

Coming in Fall 2021, our cloud-first platform, Nintex Workflow Cloud, and our integrated document automation capability, Nintex DocGen® will be available to all of our Canadian customers through a Microsoft Azure data centre in Toronto, Ontario.

This means that Canadian-based organizations who leverage our process automation and management software can do so with total confidence that their data privacy and residency requirements are being fully met.

In fact, Nintex Workflow Cloud and Nintex DocGen will be joining the ranks of our process mapping management tool, Nintex Promapp®, and recently acquired Nintex K2 Cloud platform, which are both already available in Canadian data centres.

Our Canadian data centre support is part of a global initiative that includes our other strategic international facilities in Asia Pacific and Europe, with the goal of giving customers added assurance without compromising the integrity of any data privacy, sovereignty, and regional deviations and requirements.

Now let’s take a few minutes and dive a bit deeper into our automation offerings.

Nintex Workflow Cloud: Security and compliance standards

As a leader in SaaS process technology, we are committed to security and meeting the requirements of industry-recognized standards such as SOC-2 and FedRAMP. Nintex Workflow Cloud services are annually audited by an AICPA-certified third party for compliance against the SOC 2 reporting framework.

The audit report for Nintex covers controls for the security Trust Services Criteria. Nintex has SOC 2 Type 1, SOC 2 Type 2, and SOC 3 reports. Use of Type 1 and Type 2 reports are restricted. The SOC 3 report is publicly available at Nintex.com/security.

Now is the time to test drive Nintex Workflow Cloud

COVID-19 has forever changed our world. In the past year and into 2021, enterprises and government agencies are utilizing more cloud technology as work has gone remote and the need to digitally transform business has only accelerated.

Today organizations in every industry have little choice other than to go digital now or risk being left behind or worse, going out of business. We have all seen the stories of those businesses that have aggressively adopted cloud solutions, whether it’s the upgraded Zoom subscription, an online restaurant take-out order form, or a fully automated asset lifecycle management process in order to stay relevant and “open.”

To respond to customer needs, we are excited to expand our Canadian cloud offering so every Nintex customer in Canada may benefit from our next generation software while maintaining compliance with the country’s two federal data privacy laws for public and private sectors.

For those of you who are newer to automation or who are leveraging Nintex Workflow and Forms for SharePoint, and considering upgrading to the cloud – now is a great time to test drive Nintex Workflow Cloud.
