Nintex Workflow 2007 Licensing Information

The following explains the differences between these versions so you can choose the most appropriate version for your organization.
Nintex Workflow 2007 - Enterprise Edition
Nintex Workflow 2007 Enterprise Edition extends workflow capability providing integration with Microsoft BizTalk and key line of business systems such as SAP and Siebel. Using the Nintex Connected Framework, organizations can begin building workflow applications in Microsoft SharePoint that can easily be extended to deliver more complex enterprise workflows over time.
Nintex Workflow 2007 Enterprise Edition is licensed on a per server basis. This allows customers to easily purchase and manage Nintex Workflow 2007 without the need for client licenses.
A server license is required for each front-end web server. Here is an approximate guide to how many licenses you may need:
- Small to Medium Business - one licence for a single server
- Medium to Large business - In a web farm scenario, licensing for between 2 and 9 servers is likely depending on the size of the business
- Large Enterprise - 10 or more servers could be necessary

Nintex Workflow 2007 - Standard Edition
Nintex Workflow 2007 - Standard Edition provides advanced workflow capabilities via a graphical web based interface embedded within SharePoint.
Nintex Workflow 2007 - Standard Edition is licensed on a per server basis. This allows customers to easily purchase and manage Nintex Workflow 2007 without the need for client licenses.
A server license is required for each front-end web server. Here is an approximate guide to how many licenses you may need:
- Small to Medium Business - one licence for a single server

Nintex Workflow 2007 - Workgroup Edition
Nintex Workflow 2007 - Workgroup Edition provides the same features as the Standard Edition but is licensed on a site activation basis. This edition has been designed for customers who require Nintex Workflow 2007 functionality on just a few sites. Nintex Workflow 2007 - Workgroup allows a maximum of 5 site activations.
