Mr SharePoint Joel Oleson has Joined the Nintex Team

Joel Oleson has joined our Seattle office as Senior Product Manager and will be evangelizing, consulting and performing presales activities for Nintex in the America’s region.
Joel brings over 7 years experience working at Microsoft in various SharePoint related roles, including supporting Office Web Server and Tahoe, migrating Office Web Server to SharePoint Point Server 2003, designing the first version of a hosted SharePoint offering now known as SharePoint Online Dedicated Hosting and was responsible for the IT Pro marketing efforts for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

Mike has joined Nintex in a Technical Pre-Sales and Product Marketing role and brings to Nintex over 10 years experience working with Microsoft, where he was one of the lead developers and evangelists on SharePoint technologies. A knowledgeable and confident presenter, Mike has presented sessions at numerous Microsoft events worldwide, including the recent SharePoint Conference in Seattle and SharePoint Forum in Sydney. Mike is well respected by Microsoft, its partner network and customers, and will be a fantastic asset to Nintex.

Windows Server 2008 Certification comprises approximately 100 test cases that independently confirm an application's compliance with best practices for compatibility, security, reliability, and availability, on the new platform. As a member of the Microsoft Early Access Program (EAP) for Windows Server 2008 Certification, Nintex Workflow 2007 is one of a select number of applications that are eligible for certification on a pre-release version of the new platform.

Notification - The Workflow designer can nominate the number of reminder emails to be sent to approvers. If the document is not approved after the set amount of reminders the submitter will be notified by email.

Scheduled Automatic Deletion. Administrators can set daily, weekly or monthly schedules to automatically purge the Deleted Items folder.

SmartLibrary Migration Tool preview release - 25th June, 2004
The SmartLibrary Migration Tool has been developed as a pre-release addition to SmartLibrary V1.1 as a way to preview one of the new features of the upcoming version 1.2. It provides the ability to apply SmartLibrary functionality to existing document libraries. Like SmartLibrary, the Migration Tool works seemlessly with SharePoint technologies, using the same familiar interfaces and methods of working.

SmartLibrary V1.1 ready to ship - 2nd March, 2004
Nintex has announced that SmartLibrary V1.1 is ready to ship to customers and will be available for download on the 2nd of March 2004. New features include; Support for InfoPath forms, import/export of workflows, support for editing documents within a workflow, the ability to bypass approval features (for authorized individuals) and enhanced user help. This update has been driven by customer feedback to version 1.0 of SmartLibrary.
Nintex joins Victoria.NET Program - 9th February, 2004
Victoria.NET is an association of industry representatives from Victoria (Australia)
who are involved with Microsoft .NET developments. Victoria.NET is an ICT industry
cluster initiated by a number of industry stakeholders and supported by the State
Government of Victoria, Microsoft and Intel.
Members are ICT industry representatives who are involved with .NET projects. Members
share their experiences with the technology to promote the use of the .NET framework
and benefit the industry as a whole.
Established in September 2003, its primary aim is to establish Victoria's reputation
as a centre of excellence for .NET projects. Its mission is to establish a successful
ongoing ITC industry cluster around Microsoft .NET and XML web service technologies:

Nintex is proud to announce that the company has joined the worldwide Microsoft developer advisory council. Joining the developer advisory council enables Nintex to work closely with Microsoft product teams to ensure our products align with Microsoft strategic and technical direction. The Advisory council was formed to ensure that partners could be involved at the right stage of developing new products for Microsoft. Each quarter, Nintex sits on the developer council hosted in North America by Microsoft.
