SmartLibrary 2.0 Released
December 13, 2004 Nintex is proud to announce SmartLibrary 2.0. SmartLibrary 2.0 provides more advanced document management features for SharePoint while continuing to improve the integration and user experience for SharePoint users.
Key new features in SmartLibrary 2.0 include-
Advanced Workflow:

Graphical Workflow Interface - The new workflow designer provides drag and drop capability..

Document Level workflow - Workflow can now be applied to individual documents as well as folders and entire document libraries.

Email Customization - Notification emails for workflow document approval/rejection can be customized by the workflow designer.

Notification - The Workflow designer can nominate the number of reminder emails to be sent to approvers. If the document is not approved after the set amount of reminders the submitter will be notified by email.

Activity Monitoring and Reporting:

Workflow Statistics - SmartLibrary now provides the ability to monitor and report statistics on document workflow approval based on individual steps or the entire workflow.

Enhanced Audit Log - The Audit log records the Approval status of the document as well as the approval or rejection comments made during the workflow.

June 25, 2004 The SmartLibrary Migration Tool has been developed as a pre-release addition to SmartLibrary V1.1 as a way to preview one of the new features of the upcoming version 1.2. It provides the ability to apply SmartLibrary functionality to existing document libraries. Like SmartLibrary, the Migration Tool works seemlessly with SharePoint technologies, using the same familiar interfaces and methods of working.

SmartLibrary v1.1 ready to ship

Nintex has announced that SmartLibrary V1.1 is ready to ship to customers and will be available for download on the 2nd of March 2004. New features include; Support for InfoPath forms, import/export of workflows, support for editing documents within a workflow, the ability to bypass approval features (for authorized individuals) and enhanced user help. This update has been driven by customer feedback to version 1.0 of SmartLibrary. Nintex joins Victoria.NET Program
February 09, 2004 Victoria.NET is an association of industry representatives from Victoria (Australia) who are involved with Microsoft .NET developments. Victoria.NET is an ICT industry cluster initiated by a number of industry stakeholders and supported by the State Government of Victoria, Microsoft and Intel.
Members are ICT industry representatives who are involved with .NET projects. Members share their experiences with the technology to promote the use of the .NET framework and benefit the industry as a whole.
Established in September 2003, its primary aim is to establish Victoria's reputation as a centre of excellence for .NET projects. Its mission is to establish a successful ongoing ITC industry cluster around Microsoft .NET and XML web service technologies:

- Maintain and establish Victoria's position as a centre of excellence for these technologies.
