Understanding SharePoint Journal on Nintex Workflow 2007 Released

June 03, 2009

Understanding SharePoint Journal has released an issue focused on understanding Nintex Workflow 2007. Now, users can learn how to work with Nintex Workflow, including installation and configuration, authoring workflows, and managing workflow execution.

SharePoint promises a high return on investment for organizations, and business process management is one of the most important tools in realizing that return. In this highly competitive industry, Nintex Workflow 2007 is recognized as a powerful workflow authoring and management system.

However, for many software investments, organizations often neglect proper training in an effort to reduce their spending. This leads to reduced value of that investment rather than savings. According to Gartner*, “sustaining business process management in an organization requires building the competency and having a vision about how BPM will function within the enterprise. “

“I wanted to show readers third-party SharePoint products like Nintex Workflow,” said Bjørn Furuknap, author and editor of Understanding SharePoint Journal. “Since Nintex agreed to sponsor the issue without getting any editorial control, we can offer the issue for free without sacrificing the integrity of the content.”

“Knowing the author was a self-confessed ‘passionate SharePointaholic’ Nintex was very pleased to support the USP Journal detailing the features and functions of Nintex Workflow 2007” said Wayne Woolston, Nintex Managing Director. “We hope this journal inspires readers to think outside the square for strong SharePoint workflow capability.”
